In my eyes the gorgeous Keira Lavelle is nothing short of iconic as a model, as an adventurer and as a beautiful easy-going young woman. You just need to look at our record over the past 8 years - everything from a Chester jail cell to the fire and ice of Iceland to the diamond strewn desolation of southern Namibia to understand that I am more than qualified to make the above statement.

Our most recent jamboree was a half day of shooting in my studio with the exceptionally beautiful and talented Rachelle Summers - what a hoot ! Amongst other sets, I shot a chessboard set with our two ladies as opposing bishops, and then as 'no holds barred' apposing knights. You need to see the images to appreciate their talent.

And then I got her to come back the next day for a one to one shoot . . .

Of course Keira has a lovely physique, grooms well, has art-nude skills but to these basics, I am going to add the three E's that define her uniquely -

1. Energy - I am relatively fit but she exhausts me.

2. Enthusiasm - share an idea and she excitedly adds to it - soon both of you are bouncing off the walls

3. Expression - Keira is more than a model, she is an actress. Paint the scenario and you get the full works, from facial expression to body language. That is why she is so good in duo shoots.

Today was my second shoot with Keira at my home in Guildford. Pre shoot comms were perfect. Keira arrived, positively energised and ready to pose... outside... in the cold air... and work to create beautiful images utilising her unique style with not too much direction. Keira was absolutely brilliant!!! I used natural light combined with a high shutter speed - allowing Kiera some movement as she moved from pose - so that I could capture some poses mid-action using various garden backgrounds. Keira was perfect! She worked so well and is so wonderful and fun to work with that we completely forgot about the cold and simply concentrated on the task at hand - Keira delivering the most beautiful poses with me composing, focusing and capturing... and then only darting indoors for a break when the cold air hinted at getting the better of us which wasn't too often.

Keira is an outstanding model! A total delight to work with! An absolute barrel of fun too! She is extremely talented, needs no direction (which is how I mostly love to work) and is a total professional. She is completely focused on working with a photographer to create the most wonderful images possible, yet does this in such a fun and relaxed way that it looks effortless and all her energy rubs off on the shoot in such a positive way, making the whole experience a joy.

Keira easily merits the highest possible recommendation!

So, I have shot with Keira quite a few times before, and always Mind Blowing.

So, she contacted me and said she was down my way, how about a shoot?

Just had a couple of glasses of wine....so, Yes, why not.

She is about to arrive at my place and I have not one idea what the hell we are going to do!!

She comes through the front door with enough luggage for all the people who were drowned on the Titanic......and within two minutes, there are fireworks exploding everywhere with incredible loud music.

At least, that is what it felt like.

It has been a fantastic shoot, with laughter, moments of intense creativety and lots of lovely images....and intense pleasure.

This is what model photography is all about.

Keira is a multiplicity of people who sparks ideas.

She is totally organised and professional and I recommend her to all photographers. Let your mind and eyes open and shoot with Keira!

What can I say about Keira that I haven't said already? This was our fourth shoot and each has been great fun. Keira always comes well prepared and with loads of clothes/accessories. Always ready to lend a hand with setting things up and always receptive and patient with my new ideas.

In a word: Phenomenal !

Keira and I had first been in contact about a potential shoot during her last tour. Diaries didn't line up then, but we me kept in touch and got a date booked for this tour.

She arrived fully prepared with a huge choice of outfits, including many, such as two-piece beaded body harnesses, body jewellery and beautiful lingerie that she had made herself !!

During the shoot itself, Keira required no direction and I only had to ask for a slight movement of head / hand etc to catch the light or stay within frame. She moved between a quite astounding range of poses and is able to convey emotion and mood in her body language and expressions - not just between sets, but from one pose to the next. For me, this provides the opportunity and spontaneity to expand on these for a set of images in a truly collaborative way. In addition, she prepared her hair and make-up to a very high standard and gives absolutely everything to ensure that we could get the best images possible.

On top of this, Keira is one of the loveliest people you could meet.

So, as far as recommendations go: Stop reading this reference, drop everything you are doing, re-arrange your diary and book Keira for a shoot NOW.

This was my second shoot with Keira. Keira was there on and totally fully loaded with outfits and accessories. As before totally amazing plus such a great personality and a total professional. I think you will see this in all her reviews and can't say much more that hasn't already been be said.

Fantasy Dabblers

One of us had another immensely enjoyable and productive day shooting with Keira at our home/studio. We shot a variety of styles and themes: styles ranged from fashion with added fantasy headgear to art nude with light bondage. Themes included Christmas, fantasy horror and steampunk. Keira’s enthusiasm and imagination shone through all of these. Her use of props was also remarkable. This shoot was with Andrew, who is disabled, including visual impairment. Keira was very understanding and helpful throughout. We have loads of fabulous shots from this day but it is so much fun working with Keira that we have already booked our next shoot.

I have lost count of the number of times I have shot with Keira but this was the second time at her place taking advantage of a short window of availability in a nearby industrial location but also shooting at her home.

In one shoot day Keira rocked grime industrial, beauty head shots, quirky roller skates, light painting and night photography, crazy make-up, underwater and art nude and somehow still had time to prepare lunch!

I have run out of positive superlatives for this turbo-powered super model.

Keira returned to my Paisley studio and demonstrated why she has hundreds of positive, and no negative, references. Armed with two huge suitcases jammed full of outfits and props, we barely scratched the surface of what this amazing lady can achieve. Despite the brief time available, she pulled off a series of amazing poses and was very quick when changing outfits, which meant that we secured numerous great images. Thanks Keira, please come back to Scotland again soon.

My pad Studio Hire - Glasgow on a Rain Drenched day 1 Nov 2019. I left this all behind the moment I entered through the studio door, and was welcomed by John of My pad, and the gorgeous and very talented Keira Lavelle that I shot with on 2 previous occasions.

A 1-2-1 prearranged with Keira it was my first visit to My pad and Keira was looking more beautiful than I ever remembered. I do love it when events are unplanned allowing unpredictability, as I know how adaptable and exciting working with Keira in this way is. I love the way she moves, flowing in perfected proportion, and you know she has the power, with her eyes reflecting the bloodlust of a Tiger, as she approaches with purpose and unquenched passion. Keira does know she only needs to lead, and I will obediently follow.

On costume we tend to be original by creating a mix and match with items that I have brought along too. On this occasion I had brought with me a Steel Chain Mail Jacket made by friend and accomplished photographer too - Fiona Brims. It fitted Keira perfectly and produced amazing results, Keira being a total natural and gorgeous.

Lighting throughout was based mainly on the use of one Beauty dish and some use of walls as reflectors. Final results with black background included the use of two soft boxes. I do have poor vision and Keira was amazing in her knowledge of the use of studio lighting - in particular the effect of feathering the soft boxes to catch the gentle angled lighting. This proved to be incredibly helpful as the camera back screen is very small.

Keira is a total natural on posing and her timing to camera take can only be described as perfect. Due to a lot of street photography in previous years I have a tendency to shoot rapid like a machined gun, with tantric pauses to review takes with the model. I do thank Keira for bearing with me regarding this, as some of my best shots are achieved in this way. Her rapport is second to none and she has my total respect and recommendation to all photographers. She proves especially helpful to those with less experience.

People might wonder why this pair are shooting for the 21st time together - they're going through the motions, repeating, no spark, money train, easy way, are some of the thoughts. These people can never have worked with the immensely talented, beautiful, bendy, bubbly, creative dynamo that is Keira. It's the familiarity that makes this "team" she insists we are tick, we can throw stupid ideas at each other knowing all the safety, refreshments, who's responsible for what stuff has been nailed down ages ago so it's all about pushing not limits, but ourselves.

The perfect house guest, she makes me coffee and does the dishes we find ourselves sitting around discussing cooking, films, travel, pensions, micro biology, decorating, plumbing, transport amongst other varied topics - yes, she's highly intelligent too. Outside the rain is lashing down, the puddles are turning into oceans, a look says pop my white shirt on, grab a case, let's go shoot in the loch. Watched by a few drooked onlookers clutching brollies, thinking this is better than trying to find Nessie, I stick a light on a stand, she strips to fore mentioned shirt and wades in, 1 degree above freezing, right up to her neck, wind driven waves and rain ensure anything above the surface is soaked as well. I bang off the shots, shout done, get out and she says shoot more! 150% total commitment to give me the best shot I can take - that's why it's 21 and counting.

The yield obtained, the variety of looks, on location and home studio, natural light and flash are down to Keira, patience and understanding when I want to try something I have zero skill or ability to do, high fives and excited yipes when it works.

Do I recommend her, absolutely, but please leave her some time because this mad duo's got a got of unused ideas to get through! 'til the next time, thank you.

The force of nature that is Keira arrived fully loaded with speciality tea to launch herself like an exocet missile into modelling for our Autumn Beauty Experience, alongside the lovely Jessica Taylor. As always, Keira gave a masterclass for our clients on what a top professional model is capable of. Once again, I cannot recommend Keira highly enough and look forward to the next time. Keira messaged me a couple weeks ago about her tour of Scotland, asking if I would be interested. After missing out on the last two Scottish tours,it was third time lucky, and wow what a delight. Keira showed up at the studio with a suitcase full of outfits. A very bubbly and chatty girl and a delight to work with. We started off with the art nude shots then onto the yellow pvc outfit, after that was the red latex before finally onto a rather grungy look. Glad I finally got the chance to work with Keira and hopefully will get the chance to shoot with her again. Score out of 10, has to be a 15. Highly recommended

It is two years since I last worked with Keira and it was great getting back together again - we quickly managed to catch up with each other’s news and got down to the business of the day.

If you enjoy a collaborative approach to your photoshoot, Keira is definitely the model for you. Whilst she will discretely keep ideas to herself, once she knows you are prepared to work together, it is great. She has such experience that she can see and visualise poses or ideas you would never have thought of.

She came totally prepared with a massive suitcase of clothes - so many that we were spoilt for choice.

The four hours zipped by and we certainly got some wonderful images that I will be sharing on PP shortly.
