Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

Jo came to Basford Hurst Cottage today to shoot with James (FriendlyMrPhoto). It was a pleasure to meet her and welcome her to our location. She arrived on time with everything she needed for the shoot ahead.

After a quick tour around she began shooting with James. She was always very respectful of our location and very happy to ask if she needed anything. She left everything very clean and tidy after the shoot.

We would highly reccomend booking Jo for a shoot, she is friendly, polite and clearly a very professional model. We look forward to seeing her again soon!! Thank you Jo!!

Katie is absolutely amazing and definitely a favourite of mine. This was our second shoot and it went as well as I'd hoped. Lots of great communication prior to the shoot, great choice of outfits and a real pleasure to shoot.

We shot at Basford Hurst and took advantage of the many rooms and outdoors, in each setting Katie looked fabulous and was very easy to direct and able to pose herself independently as well.

Katie is a real delight to work with and I would thoroughly recommend her to others, without any doubt.

Sunday, Katie and I took the opportunity to do a Halloween styled shoot. We did three main sets - a red devil, a black bride and a dark angel. These were largely Katie's ideas and she came fully prepared with outfits, all I did was add a few props.

Katie has quickly learned how to pose, and she does it well. She is the kind of model you can put in a starting pose and then just leave her to create her own variations.

I love working with Katie, it is always fun, and would highly recommend her.

Gave Katie a call Monday to ask if she fancied making the most of this weather with a location shoot…So we met up Tuesday evening for our second shoot…. The location was fantastic (Katie’s idea) and just like our last shoot Katie was a dream to shoot this time too.

Katie has a really natural posing ability and doesn’t really need direction and when required, has no trouble taking direction. She is very easy going and easy to talk with, she also comes with hair & make up done, and a wardrobe fit for the shoot!! I would really like to shoot with Katie again… ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I’m VERY happy with the results and hope Katie is just happy with the images!

I had another excellent shoot with Jo yesterday, this time at her home rather than outside. Working inside, with the ability to use backdrops and lighting, allowed us to create some great images.

Jo is very easy to work with and very happy to try new styles. We chatted away as we worked and the time went by very quickly. Jo poses easily and confidently, but is also very open to taking direction.

Jo has quickly become one of my favourite models to work with, and I hope we continue to work together in the future.

Worked with Katiej today for the first time and she was great. Easy going and a good worker. We tried a few new ideas today and she was open to them without any complaint. She took direction well and I was able to create very much what was in my mind’s eye. Would have worked longer too but time was against us, but still achieved 6 sets of work. Very much recommended and our paths will cross soon again.

After several aborted attempts to have a shoot, Jo and I finally got together yesterday evening for our first photoshoot. It was worth waiting for as Jo is a joy to work with and we finally got some nice weather.

Jo's pre-shoot communication was great, she arrived on time and with a selection of outfits to meet to requirements of the brief we'd agreed. She is easy to work with and we chatted throughout the shoot. Although she hasn't been modelling that long Jo posed freely with very little direction.

Jo has a lovely natural look and I would definitely recommend her. Thank you Jo, and I hope we can work together again.

Had my first shoot with Jo yesterday evening and it was an absolute pleasure, Jo is polite, friendly, helpfully and patient, her communication was great setting up the shoot, and for the shoot itself, I came away with fabulous shots and images I wanted and hoped to get..

Shooting with Jo felt very comfortable and relaxed throughout, in fact, I don’t know where the time went!

Jo has a very natural smile and takes directions very well, she also came to the shoot perfectly turned out and with a great selection of outfits. Perfect for the style of shoot.

Katie is an absolute wonder! We had a fantastic 3 hour shoot at a lovely barn suite and the time just flew by. Katie is very at ease and works well under direction but also shares ideas for poses. I can't believe she has only recently entered the world of modelling. I think she's a bit of a star and should look forward to great success in front of the camera.

After the poor weather forced me to cancel our planned shoot at short notice, Jo was very supportive and helpful with regards to planning to reschedule. She's a great communicator, answers messages very quickly, and is really flexible too, which really helps when planning an out door shoot in this country:).

At the shoot itself, Jo was friendly, polite and helpful, as well as being a wonderful model of course. Her amazing smile is also very real, and not forced, so it's really easy to capture that. I do feel that Jo is better suited to very elegant shoot scenarios where her figure, bone structure, piercing eyes and amazing smile can really bring a shot to life.

I'd highly recommend Jo to any photographers reading this, whether Pro or hobbyist. You won't be disappointed.

What an absolute pleasure it was to work with Katie. We’d been attempting to arrange a shoot together for a while but our diaries never matched up. So we set a date and hoped for good weather.

KatieJ showed up on time with a whole host of clothing and ideas ready to shoot.

I think We inevitably spent more time chatting than actually shooting but the images we got were just as i envisaged and were a credit to KatieJ’s ability as a model to pose unaided or easily directed.

She is a fantastic model and great fun to be around. We will definitely be shooting together again.

Katie is relatively new to modelling but is smashing it !

I recently had the absolute pleasure of shoot this gorgeous lady. She is funny, charming, very enthusiastic and totally professional.

We had a fantastic studio to shoot from (Aura) and made the most of the incredible natural light.

Katie worked hard to get the image just right and we both very pleased with the results.

I had the pleasure of working with Jo on a Bridal shoot. Jo impressed me from the get go as she was punctual and prepared. During her makeup application she was pleasant and let me carry out the look according to the brief.

During the photoshoot she held herself really well and with little direction required she came across fantastic in the pictures. She is professional and very photogenic.

Lovely shoot with Jo. She's a wonderful person who takes direction well if needed & put up with my weird ideas. Comms were good, timekeeping was spot on & she actively took part in the styling decisions.

I'll keep this short as all you need to know is that you need to book her, I'll certainly be doing so again.

Over the weekend I had a lovely relaxed shoot with new model Jo. Pre-shoot comms were both quick and detailed. Jo also sent over photos of her outfits she put together, which always helps with location choice. Jo arrived on time, along with the outfits as discussed. Although Jo has really only just started modelling I found her to be creative, knows what looks good, and very easy to work with. She also takes on direction easily if needed. Jo is the owner of a great personality and it shows in the final photos. She has a wonderful look, she`s confident and very easy to talk to.

Recommended to both amateur and professional photographers alike. Would also suit any local sports brand looking for a talented and trusted sports/gym ambassador.

One word comment: amazing!

Jo applied to a casting recently, and I liked her look straight away. Communications have been great and we quickly managed to organise a shooting with Jo and her daughter, which also is amazing and very patient. We spent some hours at her place, going through many different ideas, and Jo's proved to be great at getting directions and delivering the photos I wanted. On top of that, she's a lovely person and it's been nice to have some chat moments in between photos.

Do I recommend her? Well, we're already planning a second shoot... :-D
