Just had an epic shoot with Katey! Sunrise, up a mountain, need I say more?!

We arranged to meet at 4.30am and Katey was ready early, completely set to go and full of enthusiasm and excitement!

Location was windy and cold, especially to be in a dress and barefoot, but Katey was awesome. She knew what I was going for, had so much input to create the best shots we could possibly create and she's somehow become even more incredible than our last shoot. Working with Katey really takes my work to the next level.

After a weekend of workshops here, I have this to say about Katey. She is hard working, understands your ideas and concepts, gives ace feedback which is pertinent and accurate, pays attention, has a great sense of humour ( a bit mischievous!), great skin, great at makeup, chooses her clothes well, communicates well, punctual, clean and well presented, well mannered - have I missed anything out? Great to work with, just go work with her - and listen to what she says! See you soon Katey, you're a star!

It’s obvious that Katey loves what she does and works hard with the photographer to get the best images, no one knows better than the model what works for them and she gives great feedback on the images.

She poses effortlessly and takes direction well. Her makeup skills and wardrobe are excellent, all in all a thoroughly professional model who I would recommend to all photographers.

Had my first shoot with Katey at Mick Payton Studios,and have to say she was brilliant.

Very attractive and did some lovely posing. Looking back at my pics there may be 1 or 2 that need a bit of cropping, apart from that they will be shown as they were took.

Katey was very complementary about the shoots taken and was keen to see the back of the camera shots. Katey will pose naturally and will take direction.

I would recommend working with Katey and will look to shoot with her again if the opportunity comes up.

Welshot Photographic Training & Events

We recently had a CPD Welshot Imaging Photographic Academy, Team Leader shoot in Chester with Katey and to say we loved every moment of working with Katey is an understatement. This was a very last minute shoot - Katey went above and beyond to make this work for us while she was touring in the North West.

While we only had 4 hours we managed to pack a lot in, no less than four costume/outfit changes and this was purely down to Katey's professionalism. Katey fitted in perfectly with our team of photographer and we loved how she was willing to have an input of ideas. Dressing up as Mary Poppins and being photographed with two little visitors to Chester was testimony to her sparking personality.

We were SO impressed we have recently hired Katey for some weekend events, comprising of 3 shoots in Llandudno (August) with the look at doing a 4th - 2 shoots in Buxton (September) and 2 shoots in Liverpool (with maybe a 3rd in Chester) in October.

We just know our delegates to our Welshot events are going to love her just as much as we do.

If Katey is willing, we have no hesitation in asking her to model for our events on a much more regular basis.

Thank You Katey - for giving us THE best day and a wonderful experience. We cannot wait to welcome you to Llandudno, North Wales in August.

I'd had a fantastic beach shoot with Katey last week and she was just as brilliant!

As I didn’t know the area I asked her to suggest a suitable beach and her choice was just what I wanted. I’d told her the look I was after and the outfits she brought were really great.

Although the day was a bit chilly and windy, Katey did a fantastic job, she is just lovely to work with; easy to get along with, effortlessly posing and we got some tremendous pictures.

There's not much more to say, but thanks Katey, looking forward to working with you again!

I shot with Katey for a first ever time on a week long photography trip to the Alicante region of Spain with 3 other models and 7 photographers arranged by @GGPhotadventures.

I was a bit nervous around shooting with someone for the first time in that kind of environment but she is such an absolutely lovely person and captivating model that any fears I may of had disappeared quickly.

I totally enjoyed shooting with Katey, from captivating portraiture (seriously the combo of eye contact and expression is next level), funky fashion and beachwear around the locations we shot at.

I found her a dream to work with and we discussed different ideas around shoots, looks and styling which she contributed massively to and helped add to the overall result.

Getting to spend time around the villa, or out & about with Katey was an absolute pleasure, She's such a lovely and genuine person.

I really enjoyed the experience and getting to shoot with Katey in such a great set of locations. Very much recommended and I hope to shoot with her again once I get through all the edits from this shoot.

Wow! Katey might just be my favourite model I’ve ever worked with.

My first ever shoot with the gorgeous Katey. We shot on location in various sites around Calpe in Spain on this group trip organised by GGphotoadventures.

Katey is very adaptable to changing locations, genres, shooting styles and creative modelling. We worked through a range of different looks including fashion for street photography, portraits and various swimwear sets at beautiful beach locations that were pre discussed and developed ideas that complimented each other. She has a great desire to get a fabulous set of images.

One of the things I loved most about working with Katey is her distinctive look and the elegance she brings to each shot. You really don’t get many throw away images with Katey. In fact her quality of modelling when it comes to portraiture is the best I’ve ever seen. Definitely the portrait queen!

I’ll definitely be working with her again and hopefully we can do more overseas adventures of our own.

I shot with Katey for a week on one of @GGphotoadventures planned shoot trips to Alicante, Spain.

How would I describe the experience? Superlatives do not do her justice - amazing, astonishing, surprising, extraordinary, captivating, sensational…….they merely scratch the surface in describing a model who owns each frame.

Katey’s look is bewitching in a non-Wiccan sense. She exudes class and style. Her beauty / portraiture images showcase her full lips, large eyes, perfect skin and blonde locks.

Katey was on time for all of her shoot slots and extremely professional in her approach.

Katey looked particularly fetching in a halter-neck top which coincidentally matched one of my favourite looks.

Katey’s look is so versatile - from a young Debbie Harry to capturing the spirit of the 70s to boho chic to girl-next-door.

My biggest regret in the week was not shooting Katey on the sunset beach shoot because the girls were feeling the cold. But despite missing that I spent quality time with Katey when she was chomping her GF meals, on our trips back to the car, winding her up when Graham rammed another fire hydrant and of course, one of my personal highlights, introducing Katey to the mayoress of Calpe, as a famous model and entrepreneur.

Katey is a rare find, an extraordinary model and person, and hopefully friend for life.

Katey joined myself, 3 other models and 7 photographers on a trip to Spain. She is the absolute perfect model for a trip of this nature, (and generally also)

Before the trip she was in communication with myself, and others building friendship and getting an understanding of what everyone wanted, and bringing a suitcase filled with outfits to suit these ideas. She also assisted with promoting it to sell a few spaces.

She was social throughout, always friendly and accommodating to everyone. Around the villa she was constantly assisting with tidying up, and generally helping out.

She also played a huge role in helping me plan the first day of shoots. Coming up with themes for sets, and locations to use.

Everyday she was the first person ready to shoot, with hair and makeup to a high standard, and clothing ready packed to suit that days venue. While working she is always adapting while definitely knowing her strengths. In the location which didn't really suit her, she overcame it by finding niche spots which really worked.

Overall a joy to be around, and delighted she came. I would have no hesitation in welcoming Katey back for a future trip or event, and would thoroughly recommend her to anyone.

Thankyou Katey, you made the trip special for me, and gave some wonderful memories

My first time working with Katey, and I wished I had sooner….. WOW…. Katey is beyond amazing!!

Katey, was one of four models on a photography event in Calpe Spain run by GGphotoadventures, where we shot in many different locations and scenarios over the week.

I was blown away by her level of professionalism and dedication. Katey was always on time, ready for action with perfect hair, makeup and outfits (which she had gone out of her way to discuss before the shoot).

For me Katey was the surprise package on the trip, as the song says she has style! One of the best models I have ever had the opportunity to work with I was giddy inside with excitement each time we went to shoot, knowing that every image was going to be a winner!

Had some really good life chats too, so thank you for making the trip, it would not have been the same without you, I really hope we can work together again in the future, very glad to have met you.

Katey came to Basford Hurst cottage for her sold out Studio day!

Pre-comms with Katey where fantastic. She was always on hand to answer any questions, and, made sure to keep me updated with any bookings and enquiries.

Katey arrived on time, fully prepared for her day. She is a joy to have around, incredibly polite and softly spoken. She is a beautiful model and every photographer who worked with her came back with a glowing report.

I would happily welcome Katey back to Basford and I hope to see her again soon!! Highly recommended!!

Another brilliant shoot with Katey, she is stunning to look at and excellent to work at, lots of new images created and as always, she has a smile to die for. She was ready at the studio, and we got going creating images very quickly, from set to set we had a great time making lots of natural light shots to begin with and then moving on to be more creative with light using studio flash. Katey is a photographers dream model; she moves effortlessly from pose to pose and stops when need to change a shot or do a close up. Her makeup is flawless, and she works really hard to get the best pictures for the photographer. Always a pleasure to work with her and I recommend her to others without hesitation. Wonderful.

First 1-to-1 shoot with the excellent Katey, although we have worked on a group event before so I knew it was going to be a success.

Katey came fully equipped with a suitcase full of clothing options suitable for every shooting option we had and we were able to make full use of the options we had around the house / studio. Her makeup is also spot on

Katey poses very smoothly, meaning that barely a shot was wasted and selecting the ones to take further will be tricky. She's also a joy to spend time with, meaning that our time flew by, albeit very productively.

She is welcome here any time she's in the area, and I look forward to our next shoot. Highly recommended.

Another great shoot with Katey yesterday afternoon. A mixture of sunshine and showers added a challenge to shooting outside but Katey took it all in her stride like the professional she is.

I answered a casting call from Katey as she was touring in my area. I discovered that a fellow photographer had booked Fareham Studio for three hours and I managed to book myself and another photographer friend to fill the other slots available.

I arrived at the studio and Katey was "make up ready" and looking so beautiful.

As we all know, beauty is only skin deep but this young lady has a personality to match. She is lovely and so easy to get on with. We had a nice chat and wandered around the studio to look at options and within a few minutes knew what we wanted to do. Mostly natural light combined with a couple of sets using studio lights.

Needless to say, Katey is a very professional model poses with ease and clearly knows what she is doing. No direction required at all but happy to take ideas.

I honestly cannot believe how quickly those two hours disappeared, which is a measure of how enjoyable it was to spend time with her.

I sincerely hope Katey comes this way again as I would definitely love to work with her. I use the term "work" loosely. It's not a chore it's a joy with her!

I now have the wonderful problem of trying to decide which images to post - a fine problem to have... I came away buzzing from this shoot.

She is undoubtedly a top model and if you get the opportunity to work with her, just do it...

I had the pleasure of working with Katey for the first time at Fareham Studio.

I had my usual printout of ideas that I would like to try and we worked our way through many of these. Katey was open to my ideas and quite happy to take direction when necessary but moved from pose to pose with such ease. Katey came well prepared with a great selection of clothing and was helpful in what she thought would work for the various sets.

Her makeup was to a very high standard. She is very professional, fun to work with, looked fantastic in whatever she wore or posed in and is very beautiful. She also showed interest in what we were shooting and was happy to try something different.

I really enjoyed our couple of hours together and I came away with a great selection of images. Hopefully I can photograph her again when she is down this way at some point. I have no hesitation in recommending Katey.

I had a brilliant shoot with Katey at Fareham Studio, having responded to her recent casting.

Pre-comms were excellent, with Katey fully understanding and engaging with my ideas. She arrived promptly on the day, fully shoot-ready and with a wide selection of appropriate outfits. She was an absolute joy to work with, friendly yet totally professional, pulling pose after pose out of the bag. The only problem now is trying to make a selection from all the images we shot!
