...My Story...

My name is Karyss Haxton. I have been modelling since 2009. I started in camera clubs as a complete beginner and progressed from there working freelance in and around the Devon and Cornwall area. I am happy to travel around and have my own transport which carries an extremely varied assortment of outfits. I love what I do and I have loads of ideas should you want to hear them, but I am equally happy working to your ideas and will put 100% into getting you the images you want.

I often change my hair colour so please watch for changes, but I currently have blonde hair. I am also happy to dye or change my hair for any shoot. I have around 16/17 tattoos all together, all very colourful. I have a sleeve on my left arm, 2 separate tattoos on my chest, two manga characters on my thighs, a quote under my boob, a little heart on my right wrist, an ankle tattoo and half a leg tattoo.

I am very professional but also extremely down to earth! I love a good laugh and I’m always up for a chat whilst shooting but I can be silent too if required, so I won’t interrupt your train of thought. I wouldn't say I'm the typical model or even typical alternative model, I have my own style and have a huge passion for what I do. I love to be creative. I am pretty much open to any ideas you may have so please don’t be afraid to make suggestions. 'Let’s get in the sea at 10am in the freezing British July!' is not unheard of for me!

I can do my own make-up to a high standard but I am self-taught so if you have an image you want me to recreate it may not be perfect or might have my own spin on it. I would be happy to work with an MUA of your choosing if this is what you would prefer.

LEVELS:-

My levels only go to clothed but that doesn't mean we can't play around with the outfits, I will happily do sexy! If you have any ideas, please feel free to ‘shoot’ them at me. I’m sure we can recreate the ideas into something great without the need for me to step outside my comfort zone.

SIZES:-

I am a dress size 12/14 UK

Shoe size is always a difficult one but normally from 5/6uk

BOOKING:-

I work mainly for pay but I am willing to consider TFP if I feel your ideas will benefit both our portfolios, so never be afraid to ask. Please don't be offended if I do refuse though, we can always work something out.

My rates I would say are competitive and also reflect my skills and experience and dedication to getting that image. I can pose very easily without direction but I’m equally happy to take direction if you have a specific look/pose you would like to get.

£35 an hour (min 2 hours) for location

£25 an hour (min 2 hours) for studio

Half days and full days can be negotiated when planning.
