I had been wanting to work with Karen for well over 5 years and last week I finally got the chance! Karen is such a lovely woman, very creative, talented and chatty. I enjoyed working on her ideas which developed through out the day in lots of fun ways.

The images do look amazing and i cant wait to see the final results!

I hope to work with Karen again and highly recommend her to all models!

I honestly don't know what else I can say about this wonderful human being :D

She's a photography mummy, always looking after me so well and always making me feel so at home in her company.

Working with her does not feel like work at all, it's always so relaxed and just such a enjoyable collaboration from start to finish :D

The images she creates are just stunning, she has that feminine touch and really knows her styling well. I always love the images that are produced from our shoots and always come away from the shoot on such a massive high.

One of my absolute favourite people to work with and just generally spend time with, which is saying a lot given how many people I've worked with over the course of 7 years :)

Karen is just lovely! An excellent photographer with amazing, original ideas and is really really good fun to work with.

The images look amazing, on the day Karen let me have lots of breaks and the whole shoot was really relaxed.

I really hope to shoot with her again and I would highly recommend her!

My second shoot with the uber talented Karen now and a whole load of magical productivity and images all over again! :D She's an absolute gem and I'm so glad our dates worked out this time because it was a little bit impromptu but it worked out and there were lots of gorgeous looks we worked through at Joel Hicks Photographic. Each set was a little bit different; Karen will literally put her hand to so many styles and do beautiful justice to her continuously high-rate images... we covered arty, glamorous, fashionable, storytelling... even fun/pinupy! :P There's never a dull moment when shooting with this amazing lady: even if you decide to go totally unplanned on the day with no pre-set ideas, I can guarantee she will give it her all and spot creative opportunities as you go along. :) Her photography eye is dead on the money with light and composition and she spots detail in the frame super quick even when there is a lot to think about! We had some very challenging light going on in the new log cabin as the sun came out so strong but we worked around it and Karen soldiered on with the settings to make the set a fabulous one in the bag!

More tremendous beauty out and about on location too - absolutely sensational the way she works a background to give drama to a shot. Karen doesn't hold back at getting innovative with angles either and the finished shots are a perfect example of how incredible her awareness is of the whole image. I got excited the moment I saw a notification that edits were ready because on the back of the camera they were something rather special let along on the big screen!

I always look forward to working with Karen again, she's an absolute treasure with a heart of gold... very laid back, professionally minded in everything he puts her hands to and so much fun too. I enjoyed chin-wagging as we were waiting for the bees/chasing butterflies as much as the shooting itself! :D I have to say it was so lovely catching up as the last year flew and it seemed like such a long time ago we had our first amazing shoot together.

Recommended so highly, I cannot tell you enough! If you have a booking with Karen, you will have a ball!

Yet another shoot with Karen, yet another half day of awesomeness. Shooting with Karen is great...why? Because every time we shoot is different, because Karen is such a beautiful human and someone I genuinely look forward to seeing. Our shoots are always a laugh, super creative and we both get so excited by the images we create. We seem to be having fun playing round with cool headpieces and crazy makeup at the moment and I love every minute of it.

A fortnight ago I enjoyed my first ever shoot with Karen after us meaning to get something arranged during my travelling tours in the area... then we hit some mutual availability and had the best ever session at Joel Hicks Photographic location creating some absolutely stunning imagery on the grounds with sensational improvisation. Karen's gifted with an amazing photographic eye which she injects to her work: while we had a few ideas to throw around at the start as we wandered around utilising the different sets, much of what we did was innovative spur-of-the-moment and working with a photographer like Karen is so driving for a model because she welcomes suggestions from the models encouraging the team effort of the whole process. Admittedly the productivity was rather contagious and at one point we were sprawled out on the grass because we were literally going at 100mph with making pretty pictures. You would have genuinely thought that we had worked together at least one before because we got right into a flow from the very start! :)

Karen's communications were brilliant when we were in the process of arranging the shoot: even when I was unable to access Facebook for a short time we swapped and changed between PurplePort but even so, all correspondence led to a very nicely flowing day indeed. Lovely smooth organisation, no fuss and Karen was ready to go arriving within perfect timing so we could get cracking as I finished my morning shoot that day. The weather was literally perfect: strong sun here and there but that was okay because we just went where the light took us throughout the course of the evening, Karen is so passionately in her element with location work and you can see that shine as she goes about producing high quality images. We covered pretty, we covered elegant, we covered trendy and we covered creative... the full works and every set had something special. :D The edits have said it all to be honest; pure artistic success leaving no stone unturned!

We not only achieved some divine inspirational photographs between our epic teamwork and gelling but we had a real barrel of laughs as well which always makes a shoot fly by at twice the pace. At one point Karen was towing me out of a clay skink-hole which swallowed my water-wading croc shoes and then the next minute we were battling with getting a parachute to fly without nose-diving into the lake. I found it so easy to cover different photographic grounds with her; she tackles technicalities of photo-making so well and I just cannot give her enough credit for having uber patience with the exposure going up and down as the sun dipped in and out - balancing on insanely uneven ground to smash the composition, I swear she did well to not end up in the water with me. :D

So not only did I really enjoy my shoot with Karen and get so flaming excited about the beautifully varied image sets, but we got on like a house on fire and I can genuinely say that she is such a sweet lady with a heart of gold plus an epic drive to make her photography as nice as possible. I recommend her so very highly and look forward to future opportunities of working together too.

I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Karen during my tour of the UK

From beginning to end it was a great experience. Communication prior to the shoot was so easy; all it took was a couple messages to schedule a date. On the day of the shoot she was kind enough to pick me up and drop me off at the train station

The shoot itself was highly enjoyable. In addition to being a talented photographer, Karen is also great company.

I am so glad I had the opportunity to work with Karen. I think we got some great images, and I hope we can work together again next time I cross the pond!

Another fantastic shoot with Karen! We began in the studio with some bridal lingerie and dresses, then moved outside for a quick shoot in some bracken. I was over the moon when Karen booked onto my Guys cliffe Art nude event with 4 art nude models. I was over the moon as I knew if anyone could capture some beautiful images of us in this stunning location Karen would be able to. Karen has such a relaxed attitude to shooting! She is aware of her capabilities and she knows when she has got what she wants! She doesn’t over shoot, in fact Karen needs very few shots to nail it.

It was lovely having Karen on the shoot as I paired her with a fellow lady photographer and the pair of them got one super well. It was so lovely to see them enjoying shooting together, laughing and helping one another out.

Karen is a very talented photographer and has already produced some amazing shots from the event.

I finally got to work with Karen last weekend in France on a photography weekend organised by Don McCrae.

Karen is simply one of the loveliest people you could hope to meet. She is kind, professional and a very creative photographer.

The whole experience was wonderful, Karen has a great eye for a strong image, her images of women are beautiful yet powerful at the same time, I think she portrays strength in a very feminine way and it is amazing to see.

As well as being professional and a great photographer, Karen is fab company,lots of laughs and giggles.

I worked with Karen during my first trip to the UK, and it was an absolute pleasure! She was lovely to communicate with prior to my trip, and kindly helped me work out all of the logistics as it would be my first time travelling in the area. She offered to pick me up from the train station, and drop me off after we finished which was very thoughtful. We spent the day shooting in a studio she had booked, as well as on location, and had a lovely time chatting and creating. I found Karen to be very easy to work with, and I would certainly recommend shooting with her! I hope to see her again on my next trip to England.

Shoot number three with the lovely Karen, as ever it was an absolute pleasure. We shot at Virtuosity Studios which was a fabulous studio and as always Karen was very easy to work with and her beautiful style speaks for itself :)

The shoot went by all too quickly but we got some great shots and I can't wait to see the results :)

Karen gives wonderful direction and I trust her 100% to photograph my best side, I really do love out shoots :)

So it was my second shoot with Karen on Monday and I had been looking forward to shooting with her again since our first shoot! Why? Errr.....because she's fabulous!! In everyway!! She is just so lovely and genuine, and at points we had to remind ourselves to actually get some shooting done as I could quite easily just natter with Karen all day!

I was so glad to get some good weather as our first shoot it rained and we couldn't do as much as we would have liked :( this time it was not the case! We manGed to fit a good amount of different sets in, in different locations, which were beautiful! I think that is one of the special things about Karen, she can see how a bush at the side of the road could look amazing in a photograph, better still, she makes it happen! She has a beautiful eye indeed!

I love how her shots are always so feminine and well thought out! And I also love how Karen doesn't bother wasting time is the shot isn't working- we went to find a log tipi which Karen had spotted, when we got there it didn't work, so instead we tried something else - and I have to apologise as with Karen I often find myself trying to climb things and scaring poor Karen to death, and that's because she is so caring towatprds her models, and is always making sure that they're comfortable, happy, warm etc.

The other thing that is nice is Karen is happy to listen and try any suggestions i may have made, which again sometimes work and sometimes don't - but it's always nice to feel like with the photogropher, and it always feels like that with Katen!

All in all a wonderful shoot! And Karen has already produced a stunning image which I love! Look forward to hopefully seeing and working with Karen again soon!

I honestly run out of ways to compliment Karen and how amazing it is to work with her, but I'll give it a good ol' go as she always deserves a glowing reference :)

It really is just an incredible shooting experience from start to finish, she is so kind and friendly it's like catching up with an old friend when I see her. As always we had a good natter and discussed the ideas, this time shooting outside in not so great conditions but she looked after me SO well. I can't express how much she cares for her models and ensuring that you are ok throughout the shoot whether it be needing a break or in my case making sure I didn't suffer in the temperatures!

I'm sure I have probably said it before but I really do love how she puts so much effort into her photos and making sure they are styled and have a theme rather than just shooting for the sake of it, its always such a creative collaboration working with her and it makes the time go far too quick! Not to mention I adore the images that come back from our shoots together :D

I could happily shoot with her everyday, and in case you haven't guessed by now by the amount of smoke I'm blowing I would without doubt recommend her!!

Already looking forward to our shoot together in June :D

So by a wonderful twist of fate, I had my first shoot with Karen on Wednesday! It was such a pleasure to meet and work with one of my favorite photographers!

Karen is lovely!! Her pre comms are great! She was kind enough to pick me up and drop my off from the station. And shooting with her was great fun, although sadly the weather (rain) stunted our shoot :( Which was a great shame! However from what I've seen Karen still managed to capture and produce a beautiful image. On the plus side the rain meant we got to have a cuppa and a natter, which was worth the trip in itself!

I am so looking forward to working with Karen again, as I really enjoyed our first shoot and I hope to make up for lost time and do her proud on the next one! Really looking forward to it! I would highly recommend Karen!!
