Well, what can I say about John that I already haven't said... he is an utter joy to work with and has vastly become not only a great photographer to work with, but also a great friend.

John travels such a long way by public transport to work with me and it honestly astonishes me everytime he does this and insists that he really doesn't mind doing this just to work with me, it really warms my heart and reminds me of why I love doing my job.

This time we planned and worked on a Christmas themed shoot and even managed to get a few non Christmas themed shots in for New Year's publications too. We planned outfits and props well in advance so we managed to get a heck of a lot done and even with some time to spare at the end to save a few of our favourites. The only problem that we have now is narrowing down those favourites as there are so many!

Thank you John yet again for another wonderful shoot and I hope that 1 day in the New Year we can make another shoot happen.

Yesterday I had my second shoot with John. After working so well together last time John quickly booked me again more or less on the dot.

This time we had planned a Halloween themed shoot of Evil Red Riding Hood, which took place in a cemetery not far from my house. Pre comms beforehand were great as we discussed props and I made a mood board to inspire us for ideas, we also split the costs of the main props we would be using for the shoot.

Even though I was coming down with a cold and absolutely exhausted because of my busy schedule lately I was still looking forward to the shoot as we had this 1 planned for a while now and I was not disappointed 🙃

A couple of things that we had planned didn't quite work out how we wanted them to, however, this gave us time to fully focus on some solid sets for future publications and the shoot was definitely no less fun.

The second part of our shoot was a shower shoot and evil red riding hood washing off the blood and evidence of her victim. Shower shoots come so naturally to me so I really enjoyed this shoot and because I've stayed in touch with John since the last shoot that we did I felt totally at ease.

John is a great photographer and now a great friend also as he is very creative just like me and ideas between us just flow easily. We even already have our next shoot planned for next month which I was quite surprised about as John lives 4 hours away from me and relies souly on public transport. We are rapidly becoming a very solid and creative team who are on very similar wavelengths and this is why we just seem to work so well together.

I honestly owe a lot to John as he genuinely appreciates my creativity and he sees the passion I have when I throw myself into each project. He trusts my editing process and genuinely listens to my ideas on how the final image should look. I would 100% recommend working with John if you are serious about what you do, have a creative flare and aren't afraid to push creative boundaries. I genuinely feel like I can 100% be myself around him, he is a truly real person.

John's pre comms were excellent from the start, he was quick to answer any questions I had, and was great when we needed to reschedule due to unforseen circumstances.

As a beginner, I was quite nervous for the shoot, but John instantly made me feel at ease, and we have discussed shooting again in future!

John was polite and courteous, always making sure to turn away when I was changing outfits, and we had a good laugh while also remaining professional.

John was great at giving direction with poses, and gave excellent feedback throughout and after the shoot.

I would highly recommend John, and can't wait to shoot again soon.

Today I had my first shoot with John after I applied to his casting call for Twisted Edge Magazine.

I have been wanting to work with John for a while now and saw this as the perfect opportunity to do just that!

Pre comms were excellent with mood board planning and plenty of chats back and forth about ideas for the shoot, we just seemed to have the same ideas and be on the same wavelength which is always a plus point.

John travelled 4 and a half hours on public transport to work with me which I absolutely feel honoured to work with someone so creative and talented from what I've seen so far.

The shoot itself went really well and again we had very similar ideas. The shoot was chatty and fun and I really enjoyed every moment of it, even when some of the images were a little tricky to get.

I would definitely recommend John to work with, he is down to earth and easy to chat to. Also very creative and talented in his work and I would be honoured to work with him again anytime.

Had a fantastic shoot with John yesterday! John’s pre-comms were amazing and he knew exactly what theme he wanted to shoot which made things super easy for me! John is an all around great photographer with a lot of knowledge in photography. I will definitely be shooting with John again!!

When you find out that one of your favourite photographers is going to your city, you just have to arrange a shoot with him! Brilliant second shoot with John, excellent and easy communication, easy and fun to work with, just like the previous time. And, having worked with him before, I already know that the final result images will be stunning. Highly recommend and would gladly work with him again.

John's pre comms were great. He arrived on time and was really friendly. We had a great shoot - John was very respectful of us needing to change etc.

John’s communication was fantastic. He was full of ideas and incredibly respectful when myself and the other model were changing outfits, he would walk off and turn his back to us, which I find really respectful.

He had great ideas and he was really easy to work with.

Shot with John the other day and had such an amazing time. It was my first time back in front of the camera since the pandemic and wanted to first shoot with someone I trusted so I contacted John.

Pre shoot commutation was great and even when I was struggling to park he reassured me that he would wait and it was no problem on the day.

We had a great day on the beach in the sun making some incredible images. His direction was perfect and he never pushed for anything I wasn't comfortable with.

His image editing is quick and great and we had great conversations about the images themselves and likes and dislikes.

I would highly recommend John for a shoot! Thank you for such an incredible day and I hope we can shoot again soon.

Pre coms were really good and he is really friendly!!

Brilliant shoot with John! I really appreciate that he travelled 3 hours just to get closet to my location to do this shoot.

He is such a genuinely friendly guy and so easy to work with, full of unique and creative ideas and also willing to do all the ideas I had.

Great communication before and after the shoot, he already is working on pictures, always striving to do better, trying out new edits etc.

Very, very highly recommended from me, you won't only get great pictures, but also have a fun time on a shoot with him.

I had my second shoot with john yesterday and i had been looking forward to it for a very long time! Our first shoot was so fun and he was so lovely, helpful and supportive, and thats why i chose john to help me with my first ever lingerie shoot. The communication was brilliant and i was given solid advice and guidance during the shoot, always being made to feel completely at ease and comfortable. Not only that but the lighting that john has set up was stunning, i only had a sneak peak of the images we have created pre edit but they already look beautiful and so incredibly professional.
