Hello, I'm Julie and I am a creative award-winning studio-based fine art portrait photographer located in the village of Farndon, 10 minutes from the City of Chester, Cheshire UK. 

My unique portraiture style is very feminine, ethereal, timeless and always tells a story...  The portraits are hand-edited in my signature fine art 'painterly' style and are intended to become works of art.

My beautiful boutique studio is private, self-contained and fully equipped with professional Elinchrom/Godox lighting, hand-painted canvases, with bespoke, antique props and beautifully whimsical vintage clothing.  I like to think of it as a magical place of creativity where the only limitation is your imagination! 

ANNOUNCEMENT: 2022 was the year that heralded the beginning of beautifully styled and themed group photoshoot events and 1-1/small group training workshops with both professional adult and child models.  These are suitable for creative photographers of intermediate level with a basic understanding of Photoshop.  As we enter 2023, I am going to focus more on personalised 1-2-1 training at the studio and my own art work which has fallen by the wayside due to the overwhelming success of my studio events which now sell out within hours of announcing them.  Although the styled events will continue in 2023, they will be fewer and as always, remain by invitation only (you can join my VIP mailing list for creative photographers by visiting the website). My promise was always quality over quantity and that will never change.  I look forward to helping more artistic togs on their own painterly, fine art photographic journey and am overjoyed to celebrate their competition wins, trophies and medals with them!
