Julie knows her craft. She responded to a casting and the planning stage was smooth. We shot the concepts relatively quickly and worked through the ideas easily. A true mark of a professional when challenged to try something else we had a laugh and still nailed it. I wish I had more of a market for her skills. I firmly recommend her.

So another exciting location shoot with JD commencing with a drink in the local hostelry (close to where we were going to shoot) as it was a hot afternoon.

We did indeed have "fun in the sun".

Shooting with JD you are guaranteed to have appropriate styling and make-up already taken care of.

This is the second time Julie has modelled on an Appleton Photo Training workshop and, yet again, she did a really great job. She has a strong modelling look and lovely skin so Helen was able to make her up quickly and effectively.

Julie brought exactly the right outfits to fit the brief - and looked fabulous in all of them. On these shoots, it’s important that students are able to connect with the model; Julie is friendly and approachable, making it easy for the photographers to direct and also to learn from her experience as a professional fashion model at the same time. They came away from the workshop very happy :)

I highly recommend Julie and look forward to working with her again.

Yesterday I had the pleasure to work with Julie on a commercial shoot for a client of mine alongside two other models, it was an 8 hours shooting marathon and she blended very well with the other models and the rest of the crew, very versatile, whilst remaining focused throughout endless changes of outfits and sets we had lots of fun and worked as a team to fulfill the client brief and my wacky ideas.

Her approach from the start has been extremely professional, good timing, communication and all the usuals expected from a model, definitely highly recommended.

Julie is the real deal! If you want a model who has tons of experience in the real world of fashion modelling, look no further than Julie. The experience shows in the time shooting with her and to use the term blank canvas would be a disservice, she is more like a modelling chameleon.

So for anyone actually interested in shooting proper fashion, Julie should be high on your list. Totally recommended.

Had a long overdue "catch-up" location shoot with JD on her home turf.

We'd discussed ideas way beforehand but as is the norm with my shoots, the plans go "out of the window" in favour of more inspired and spontaneous takes as opportunities present themselves. As usual with JD a relaxed and effortless shoot. Time flew by 🙊😎

We spent a couple of hours in three locations near Waterloo, catching the morning sun in a park and on the backstreets and then finished up in the graffiti daubed Leake Street. Julie was patient and helpful to us all (a bunch of amateurs) in setting up poses and I got some great images.

I had the pleasure of putting a casting up for a fashion based shoot, Julie answered my casting and from there in her communication prompt appearance at the train station was first class and very reassuring. From the moment we met Julie filled me with confidence expressing her in-depth skill set and understanding of what I wanted to achieve, we arrived at the studio and from there in she showed such a high level of professionalism and understanding of what I wanted to capture today.

I have been meaning to arrange a shoot with Julie for ages but because I have only recently come out of hospital the shoot had to be deferred. She arrived early with a good range of dresses. Oozing confidence she is utterly professional with a good sense of humour. I am looking forward to working with her again very soon. Definitely recommended.

Julie applied for my casting for an outside fashion shoot around Canary Wharf.

Her pre-communications were great.

Sadly for us both, I probably couldn't have picked a worst weekend for weather, for as Julie arrived (on time) so did the heavy rain. Luckily for us it didn't last long and we cracked on with the shoot.

We photographed at 3 locations around Canary Wharf with Julie braving the cold, wind and a little rain.

I am very happy with what I managed to capture given the bad weather.

May be in the future we'll catch up again for another fashion shoot.

*Update* The shoot did get us both 2 FPI's.

Natural Light

Julie applied to one of my castings and we shot today. Pre-Comms were great.

In short she is a fantastic fashion model and we had a great fun and very productive shoot today. She moves seamlessly and effortlessly from pose to pose and we have already planned another shoot for the New Year.

Highly recommended.

Big Shot Studio

Julie attended our studio along with a photographer for a shoot on Monday. We found Julie to be friendly and polite and respectful in the studio. Observing Julie work was a pleasure, she is a great fashion model with a fantastic look and was able to move effortlessly through poses.
