Had a lovely 4 hour shoot with Julian last week. Communications were great and the shoot itself was both enjoyable and productive. Very professional, easy to work with. :)

Big Shot Studio

Julian hired out our studio to shoot with model Lulu Lockhart and it was a pleasure to have him here. I found Julian to be a very pleasant fellow. He worked well in the studio and was conscious of taking care of the equipment and props he used. He worked well with Lulu and was totally polite and respectful in his communication and work with her. I would happily recommend Julian to other studios and models. He is more than welcome here anytime.

Lulu Lockhart

I had a studio session with Julain recently, his pre-shoot communications were very good, he explained very clearly what he wanted to achieve from the shoot and made sure I was comfortable. During the shoot Julian was very polite, professional and friendly. He gave good directions when he had certain poses and images in mind and also was happy to let me free-flow and contribute my own ideas.

Julian is also very experimental, happy to try different lighting set ups, angles and styles within his images. As a result, the shoot was dynamic and we managed to achieve several different looks in a short space of time.

Julian also very kindly brought along some cakes and made sure that I was both fed, rested and happy at all times.

Overall, I can recommend Julian highly :)

I had the pleasure of meeting Julian today for a shoot. His pre comms were excellent, was easy to talk to about what he wanted and directed me well. Due to myself being unwell today I had to cut it short but Julian was very understanding and was a true gentleman. It was great to shoot with him and I very highly recommend shooting with him!

I’ve known Julian for some time know having meet him on a photography workshop and a few other events since then. Julian is a true gentleman and treats everyone with the utmost respect. Having watch him work with some of the models on a body paint day that some friends and I organized it was clear they all enjoyed working with him. Welcome back Julian, it’s about time you picked up that camera again.

I worked with Julian a couple of times a few years ago. Our first shoot was a tuition day with another photographer in Bath and the second time was a day booking in Oxford. Julian was polite and respectful on these shoots and I enjoyed the time working with him.

I'm happy to recommend Julian to other models and I hope that we get the chance to work together again in the new year.

Adding a reference here for Julian, though it's actually 10 years since I worked with him, around when I first started modelling. I shot at his studio and he was happy for me to bring a friend along too. He was professional and friendly to work with, no problems.
