I met Julia in an art gallery in Rotterdam where I was showing work in October 2016 according to my diary and I've worked with Julia about a dozen times since, maybe more. We mainly shot dance, mime and movement videos and I had three exhibitions based on the work I made with her as well as two group exhibitions. Julia's always on time, enthusiastic and puts her whole soul into what she is doing. It is only geography and covid that has got in the way of us working together again for these last couple of years. I loved working with her because she immerses herself in what she is doing.

I had an awesome shoot with Ju when I visited Holland. We shot a mix of indoor in their place and outdoor that Ju knew based on my moodboard. We did some portraits and two series of dance movements, one in flow and one static. If you want impressive and different poses, they are definitely the model you want. The pictures turned out amazing and I look so much forward to finish and show them! I can 100% recommend and I would be very happy to work with them again! :-)

I have worked with julia so many times that I cannot even count them any more.

They are an extraordinary model and performer and will give themselves over entirely into whatever idea or project you have. Julia brings a sense of pure and wildly passionate energy to every project we have had, no matter how random or strange my ideas have been. They were the most wonderful muse for me and have contributed a great deal to my development of skill and creative thinking in my photography.

Furthermore they have been amazing to model alongside and how definitely broadened my horizons in terms of what is possible and interesting in the movement spectrum.

Lastly they are also just a wonderful, highly intelligent and joyous human being, always a pleasure to be around!

I will always recommend julia, especially if you want to be positively challenged and have a fellow deeply creative person think alongside you for your project

We did a shoot at Julia's place in Rotterdam. It was my second shoot with Julia. Many more times I participated in the life drawing sessions she used to organise during the lockdowns due to the pandemic. Julia can possibly move her body in more forms than you can think of. I made some of my most expressive photos of body form working with her. She is very dedicated to her work and a serious person to work with.
