My name's John, I'm a 60 year old photographer living and working in Kingston upon Hull. Each photo shoot I do is a new challenge, and each one represents a progression from my previous work. To make this possible I spend a lot of time researching picture ideas, drawing inspiration from a wide variety of sources.

Usually I shoot mixed level to full nude, this makes it possible to get a good range of different images in a single one or two hour session.

I have an extensive collection of props and clothes which I am constantly adding to. Sometimes I modify shoes and clothes for photographic modelling use. Items are also sometimes available for hire or for sale, please inquire for more details if there is something you are looking for. I also buy and trade 35mm camera equipment from time to time.

At present I use 35mm film cameras in my own work. Recently I have also acquired some 120 folding cameras. I use both colour and black and white film in my work.

There is free car parking available in a car park off Goathland Close, near my address in Kingston Upon Hull. Models are generally welcome to bring partners and/or chaperones to photo shoots. 

All of my portfolio pictures were taken in my home studio. Recently I have rearranged my main studio space, there is now more floor area available for models and props. I can also do location work using portable lighting, this can include extended location shooting without mains electricity using battery powered lighting equipment.
