I had the pleasure of working and meeting jason for the first time recently during a horror photography event I was modelling at, held at the new Dark Lens studio in wolverhampton !

The event was very busy and studio was lively and full with people, but despite this environment Jason was very easy to work and chat with, very polite, professional and gave great direction. They certainly had a strong artistic vision and own style, unafraid to develop an idea and shot until satisfied !

A stand-out and talented photographer and highly recommend !

I hope to join forces with them again upon my return in January '19!

Shot with this delightful dude, we've worked together many times but hadn't done for a couple of years due to life and what have you.

But, nothing changes!! Still so easy to work with. Still wonderfully professional. If you want a well rounded photographer who comes with ideas, style, humour and ease then Jason is certainly well worth working with!

Our original plan couldn't come together due to the weather but we still smashed it! Knit wear an' all!

I have worked with Jason on two occasions now at The Dark Lens Studio Home. He is one of the most polite, lovely photographers I have worked with.

Jason has a great eye for photography and produces beautiful images. His attention to details pays off with every shot and working with Jason is a pleasure. You can talk all day to Jason all day as hes full of energy and is very humorous. Jason also made a banging brew the other day so i'll thank you him for that also. ;)

Jason made me feel very comfortable both pre-shoot and during location shooting. He had a lot of ideas to capture some creative images fitting the brief and style excellently. A highly talented and experienced photographer! Despite shooting in Sutton Park on a cold day, he made it enjoyable and really looks after his models. We got some great results! Just completed a two day Studio Lighting workshop with Jason at Map Studios, together with some help and modelling from the lovely Vickie M and Lauren Louise. Jason is a great photographer and a really good teacher, explaining concepts before demonstrating them and then getting you to do them yourself. He also made us think a few times, which doesn't always happen on such courses. As his images here show, he knows his stuff and if you get the chance to work or train with him - go for it!

Went on the below mentioned two day studio lighting workshop at Map studios in Lougborough. Jason gave a really comprehensive masterclass in lighting models - the lovely Vickie and LaurenLouise - and I for one learned a lot. I now have a lot more confidence in knowing what I am doing rather than winging it - we really had to use the little grey cells. Jason's methods, calling upon his not inconsiderable photographic skills, conveyed a lot of crucial information in a way that was both entertaining and easy to retain. I will be going on the follow up course next year, and would be happy to sign up for other courses that he runs.

Had the pleasure of completing one of inked kandy stills lighting workshops. Its something I really should have done at the start of my photography journey. I literally feel I have being blagging my way through it until now. I can confidently say I know and understand exactly what does what and why. His method of teaching is engrossing and leaves you completely satisfied. Highly recommend to beginners and even advanced photographers, as his lighting skills are just up there next level stuff and can not wait till his advanced workshop to come up.

I had the pleasure of working with Jason on Saturday, it was my first time ever modelling any swimwear and he helped teach me so much about posing not just in swimwear but in anything in general. I learnt so much, and he was happy to answer any questions I had. He worked with respect to what I was comfortable with, and even told me ways to be extra careful with photographers out there. He arrived on time, and was very warm and welcoming. I saw some of the photos and they looked great, I can not wait to see the rest. I definitely recommend him, it was an honour. There is no surprise he has so many glowing references.

This was late shoot at Map studios where Inked Candy was the master and showed the group simple but very effective lighting skills. nothing was too much trouble and was an excellent shoot not forgetting Lottie Rose who was the model

great shoot and recommend that you use his skills to improve your own as I have highly recommended and hre would an excellant choice for new models getting studio time

I have not enough good words to say about Jason. What a lovely, down to earth, decent and professional bloke!

I had so much fun putting on a workshop with him at Map Studio last weekend. We nearly had to cancel as we had a few drop outs, but change of plan and a few emails we sorted it out and on we were, thankfully!

Hes so talented! He knows so much, and even I learnt loads! I'm so glad we managed to work together!
