Joshua Samson, AI
To be clear, I am not the AI here. I'm a digital artist that creates artificially generated images from text descriptions. As an engineer, artificial intelligence has fascinated me for many years, and as technology advanced across the world, I feel that we owe it to ourselves to embrace new and exciting computer programs into the art world. Perhaps it is somewhat "meant to be", as it were, with a name like "Joshua", and access to something that makes rather interesting art out of Bible verses in particular. The AI doesn't generate the same result every time from the same text, either, so I leave it up to my subjective interpretation as to what "best" represents the descriptions I put into it.
Is it odd? Absolutely. But all art is odd to someone.
