References for Josie Lauren

When I photographed Josie at about this time last year, she was the first model I had photographed from Purple Port. So I already knew that she was a great girl and a fun model to work with. And so it proved again...the friendly conversation, the easy smile, and the willingness to put in the effort to get the desired shot were all there again. Josie is a natural ...her ease in front of the camera makes working with her a genuine pleasure. Thanks Josie...and see again you next year I hope!

I always love working with models I've worked with before, especially when our first shoot together was so successful. So I was very keen to get Josie back for an all day shoot underwater. Today we raised the bar as we decided to work with free flowing fabric, which is a very difficult proposition underwater. Thank goodness Josie is as comfortable underwater as she is above it, and she threw herself at it wholeheartedly. Over lunch we reviewed the images we'd obtained in the morning, and two stood out as being nearly perfect. I would have been happy to end the shoot there with those.

But Josie being the professional she is, looked through them all, worked out what we could improve and dragged me back in for a few more hours. We shot different setups and achieved some wonderful shots.

Josie is an inspirational model to work with, and she will be working with me regularly (she doesn't get a say in this!!). A very funny person, a wonderful model ... I highly recommend her. Thanks buddy!

I was lucky enough to get to shoot with Josie a few weeks ago and we had a great shot. I headed over to near where she lives and we found some cool urban environments to shoot in and nearby woodlands. Josie is easy going, fun and knows how to pose. She was well prepared, keen and ready to go taking direction when needed and busting out solid poses when not. She is open to try new ideas and it was great to work with her. Get her booked.

So great to finally work with Josie. She has such a classic look and charisma that you can't go wrong and take a bad photo of her :)

It was so cool to listen to her driving directions while we were moving across small b roads and towns from one location to another.

Every now and then a shoot comes along that completely blows your mind. Well, yesterday I had such a shoot, with one of the funniest, happiest and charismatic models you could wish to work with. Josie was superb with her pre-shoot comms and we both knew what to expect of each other on the day. She made sure she arrived on time, and came with exactly the outfits I had asked for, and then those she'd thought would work well for our day's plans.

So far so good.

What I hadn't bargained for was how well we would gel and how much laughing we would do. Have you ever laughed underwater? Because ... and I have the photographic evidence ... we both have!! :) The morning was spent with my usual Peter Hurley portrait shoot, and she loved it! She took instruction really well, learned how the camera sees every minute muscle change and she learned how to give the best of herself. I am sure this will hold her in good stead for all her future shoots. We have some fantastic headshots for our portfolios!

After lunch we headed into the pool for some drenched fashion shots and then the underwater shoot. The drenched fashion shots were great but oh boy ... the underwater work. She's a fish!! We had such a blast ... I'm going to arrange to get her back in for a day of underwater work very soon. I can't describe how much fun it was and how much we laughed throughout the shoot.

See you again soon Josie, and for the rest of the photographers out there ... book her! She's GREAT !!!

I had the absolute pleasure to meet Josie at the weekend while I was being trained by Dale & VanEyke, and she is lovely! great fun, very easy to get on with and she put up with me being a complete novice with a camera with very good grace :)

She is a very good model, has great looks and poses, is willing to what is required to get the shot and works very hard at it.

Josie is a real pleasure to work with, dedicated, funny and just plain awesome :)

Highly recommended :)

What an awesome girl to work with. Bang on time, well prepared, awesome pre-comms and such a great laugh.

Shot with Josie, Dale-Alexis and DeSilva in a joint project last Saturday and dragged her around to an enchanted forest and the nearby castle. Josie went along with every weird idea we came up with and adopted easily to the different demands from the three of us.

Absolute lovely person inside and out, great looks and lovely personality. I can only give my highest recommendation to work with her and will definitely shoot with her again. An absolute gem. Thanks for an epic shoot. :)

Third shoot with Josie, which shows just how much I enjoy working with her. If I needed a female model, for any concept/theme, Josie is the first person I would call. Each shoot has had a different theme, and each time I have been blown away by the results - she really is amazing! It's not just how great she is as a model that makes me want to work with her time and time again, but what a great person she is also. I know what I will get from Josie, and that's a great attitude, enthusiasm, a fun personality, and the results are always amazing.

Josie is just amazing. Both as a model and as a person. We had our second shoot together at my home, and just as before, Josie's arrived with plenty of outfits, with a great attitude, and full of enthusiasm.

The shoot itself was great. The images were to be used for composites, which meant that most of the shots will be added to different backgrounds and will include things that aren't present at the time of shooting. A lot of the ideas needed Josie to imagine different surroundings, and play different characters, and she nailed it every time.

Josie has such a great look, poses well, is full of enthusiasm, is amazingly cool, and just the nicest person you could meet. I absolutely would work with her again, as I know that I will get great results and have a good laugh at the same time.

Josie is one of the first models I've worked with through PP and I couldn't be happier with how well the shoot went :)

Josie was such a delight to work with, bubbly and fun even though the shoot was quite early! Her pre-shoot communications were great, quick responses and open to ideas and happily brought along some shoes along with her - which was a major help!

She arrived and was open to suggestions of outfits, props, hair and makeup; she seemed really excited to try out ideas and concepts.

During the shoot, she was more than happy to take suggestions and direction - but in all honesty she knows how to work around the camera without direction - She made the whole shoot feel at ease and had the odd laugh here and there which is refreshing to have :)

I'd recommend Josie to all photographers, she naturally has an easy-going personality about her and it was great to work with her, I'd love to work with her again!

Totally loved shooting Josie, what an awesome model and person, shes full of enthusiasm and confidence and is very easy to get on with, looks great with an amazing figure.

Josie managed to pull off some first rate poses in some very testing locations and conditions.

Needless to say we had a very entertaining & fun filled shoot....

It just so happened that Josie was the first model that I photographed via Purple Port. She'll be a hard act to follow!

I liked Josie very much as a person and as a model. She was very easy going, relaxed and contributed greatly to the enjoyment of the shoot with her easy smile as well as putting forward some original and creative ideas.

She was great to work with and I don't hesitate to recommend her.

Josie is very beautiful and has fantastic hair .She has a very professional approach to the shoot and it is a pleasure to work with her .Her communication prior to and during the shoot was excellent .

Would I work with Josie again? In a heartbeat. Within minutes of meeting her it was if we'd known her for ages. She has that easy, immediate engagement. She is a fun character and has bags of energy. She is quick with a smile and a nod to try the next suggestion but came with her own ideas. She takes direction very well but adds her own interpretation and works equally well without direction. She treated the shoot with a sense of fun but treated each image seriously and professionally.

Pre shoot communications were excellent. She was on time and well prepared.

Book her. you won't be disappointed. We will use her again without a doubt.

Had my first shoot with Josie this week, I've been editing the shoot this weekend and I'm very pleased with the results, we got some great shots in the studio and on location. She's very easy to work with and we had a lot of fun creating the images, we also got to do a little bit of stalking around the star wars set trying to spot Harisson Ford in his limo.

I highly recommend working with Josie and hope to work with her again soon.

Easily one of the most enjoyable shoots I've had. Josie is easy to get on with, has a great personality, is a good laugh, and is just an amazing model.

Communication was spot on from day one. Josie was ready on time and well prepared, bringing with her the perfect outfits for the style we were going for. She nailed every pose and was very confident in front of camera. We had a few laughs in-between shots, but as soon as we were ready for the next shot, Josie jumped straight back into professional mode. I couldn't be happier with the results.

I honestly can't praise Josie enough. I have already given her name to a photographer friend, would happily recommend her to others, and would definitely work with her again.

Shutter Imaging

Had a lovely shoot yesterday with Josie out and about on location in her home town. Pre shoot comms were excellent and ideas exchanged and agreed. As well as looking fantastic Josie also has a great personality and very easy to work with and chat to. Needed little to no direction in terms of poses and was happy to try new things.

Would definitely work with again and hope to do so, and would recommend to anyone. P.S. Also makes a damn good cup of tea :)
