Having worked with Jose for the first time on a cityscape shoot a while ago we had been discussing something more action oriented and I had an idea that I had been looking to realise for some time. Having captured some brief action sequences during our first shoot in the city I knew that Jose had flair in capturing dynamic movement with the human anatomy.
As a keen athlete in many aspects I was looking to capture some images on an outdoor athletics track. Our biggest challenge however was identifying and obtaining permission to use a suitable location. The process in negotiating this was time consuming and tedious so I am thankful to Jose for his patience.
With the use of the facility successfully authorised and booked we shared ideas of scenarios to replicate. Jose is also active and sports minded which meant that he had great vision from both an athletic and photography perspective.
On the shoot itself, whilst we were restricted with time due to the booking slot and diminishing natural light, Jose ensured we were able to create images that all parties were happy with (including an additional model who played the role of rival athlete)
This shoot was a long time in making but was definitely worth the wait despite the fact that we ended up working in the cold autumn sunshine rather than summer!
The edited images and video which we also shot were delivered ahead of the estimated time of two weeks and look phenomenal.
This was a very successful second shoot with Jose. The standard has been set very high so this will be a tough act to follow but we already have another shoot planned for next year. He is definitely highly recommended by me! 😎

I had my first shoot with Jose on location in Bristol & it was awesome! We did an urban shoot which was very different for me, but Jose was really lovely and made me feel totally comfortable throughout. Jose brought his assistant Maria along who was really lovely, she assisted with the shoot & even carried my stuff!
Jose had lots of really cool ideas and was well prepared for the shoot. He is a really lovely guy, who's friendly, down to earth and is super fun to work with. His work speaks for itself!

With variety being of the essence I was very much intrigued when Jose Coello expressed an interest in working with me. Having seen some of his work I was aware of the natural element of the images he captures.
Ahead of the shoot we discussed ideas for a theme that would be mutually beneficial to both of our portfolios by allowing us to break new ground.
On the day itself we decided on Temple Quay, a location where I am very much at home. Bringing my personality to the images as encouraged by Jose was second nature.
Jose is very sincere and considerate. He is also a very good photographer with a real passion for his work so I would definitely recommend him.

Jose's a hoot! Really enjoyed my full day shoot with him and the MUA and hairstylist. Started off with a quite simple stock shoot around Bristol and then went into his studio and concentrated on beauty. I am so so pleased with the work that we created from a days work so many great ideas between the three of us and it was a really successful shoot. I can't wait to see all the images edited - the unedited ones looked amazing enough! Would highly recommend.
