ABOUT ME

Glasgow-based photographer and short film maker.  I work mostly in boudoir and art nude, but am happy to try my hand at most things if the theme and style interests me.

STYLE

My preferred styles are art nude and boudoir.  Please note that when I post a casting call for a photoshoot I will always state what level of nudity (if any) is required.  If the casting call calls for full frontal nudity, for example, and you only work to topless or implied, please do not respond.  Levels of my casting calls are non-negotiable.

The majority of my work is in deep contrast black and white.  I will work in colour if I feel it suits the theme and style of the photographs, otherwise monochrome all the way.

I will always provide any outfits, lingerie, etc required for a shoot.  I will rarely ask the model to bring anything.  The model is welcome to keep any outfits used in the shoot.

PAYMENT/COLLABS/CONTRACTS/ETC

If a model is working with me in response to a casting call, or a message from me for a particular shoot, then I shall pay model's desired rates, plus travel expenses.  I do not consider this a collaboration and, as such will not be taking on board ideas for theme, costumes, etc.  These will be decided, by me, before the shoot commences.  Obviously, the  model will have free reign in regards to poses.  Also, in this regard, please do not ask for the original photo elements to do your own editing.  All requests will be refused.  This is non-negotiable.

If I model approaches me with particular theme in mind and wishes to control the shoot, I will consider this a job for hire, therefore I will require payment.  For this I will follow all instructions and supply all photographs taken to the model.   If the model requires my services as an editor, this will incur a further charge.  This is non-negotiable.

If the model wishes to work with me and share ideas and themes, I will consider this a collaboration and no money will exchange hands.  I will expect the model to split expenses (studio hire, costumes, etc) 50/50.  I will also be happy to edit the photographs in partnership with the model, with ownership of the photographs going to both of us.

I will require a Model Release Form to be signed before each shoot.  This is non-negotiable.

If the model is running late I require a call or text.  Life happens and I am more than happy to wait for anyone.  However, if I do not receive any kind of correspondence within fifteen minutes after the agreed start time, I will consider the shoot null-and-void.  This is non-negotiable.

TRAVEL

I do not travel outside of Glasgow.  I will work anywhere within the city, but will not travel out-with, no matter how good the job may be.  This is non-negotiable.

CHAPERONES

I have no issues with chaperones and they are welcome, providing they are a silent presence in the studio/location.  If I feel a chaperone is interfering in the shoot or, indeed, is being hostile towards me, I will abandon the shoot there and then.  This is non-negotiable.

BITS AND BOBS

Despite the intense-seeming nature of this profile, I actually like a shoot to be laid-back and friendly.  I am happy to answer any and all questions before, during and after a shoot.
