I am very late on writing up this reference...I loved shooting with John on location and getting creative, even with the threat of cows chasing after us in the rain! I look forward to our next shoot, thanks so much for introducing me to such awesome locations and for being great company. And "Beast" - was nice having the 4 legged lady around too (:

I've worked with John many times at Motorsport events such as the BTCC and WEC, and he is always reliable, professional with a fantastic sense of humour and produces incredible images. Can't wait to work with him again, and hopefully organise a shoot soon!

Highly recommended, lovely guy, work with him!!!

Where to start?!!!

I have done so many shoots with John and have loved every single one of them!

He is such a talented and creative person, don't think he'll ever run out of amazing ideas.

He is passionate about what he does and is always busy either doing shoots or editing - honestly don't think the man ever sleeps! :') The images we have created have boosted my portfolio so much and to be honest he makes me look better than I ever thought I could! I love all of the work we have done together so far and still have many more shoots left to do... lucky me! :D

John is one of the most genuine people I have ever met with an unusual but amazing sense of humour aha. We have the weirdest conversations but I think that's why we get on so well, way too similar :')

I honestly consider him to be a true friend and he is always there for me if I need someone to talk to. All-round awesome guy! :)

If you get the opportunity to work with him then go for it! Highly recommend him! :)

I finally got to work with John, it was worth the wait. He is a great photographer & such a lovely person, he's fun & easy to work with. He came up with some good ideas and made me feel comfortable the second we met. I would recommend John to anyone & i would really like to work with him again. Cant wait to see the final edits! :)

I worked with John on a creative concept shoot with bodypaint.

From discussing the initial idea, growing and developing the concept and on the actual day of the shoot, John was a pleasure to work with.

He has a real passion for photography and an utter perfectionist when it comes to achieving the ultimate shot.

We had great fun planning and on the day of the shoot and I'm looking forward to future projects.

Had a very cold, yet rather productive shoot with John the other day.

Good communication before meeting, great guy to talk to with a strange, but brilliant sense of humour (my kind of humour) lol

Great at giving direction and makes it clear what he wants you to do, he found us a few cool locations around Nottingham city centre and we clicked very well as a working pair.

I LOVE the images we got from the day and I really hope I get the privilege to shoot with John again this year!

Was at a group shoot when a model I was planning on doing a brideal shoot with later that day asked me to give her Big black eyes and make her look like the morning after the night before xx ten minutes later there was smoke from the bushes went to investigate and there with said model was Mr Rourke after initially being shell shocked been a big fan of his work for a while found him to be funny whitty and a true gent x although this was not a shoot we planned I pray we work together soon amazing pics of miss b was the outcome xx add add

John is an insanely talented photographer, very creative and can make the best out of any conditions, indoors or out. He pushes boundaries, and with that gets to a higher level of images. He made me feel extremely at ease and had fun too! I would love the chance to work with him again.
