I paint usually in oils, mostly portraits, some nudes and also abstracts which walk the line between pure colour abstraction and suggested reality. I have studied at Cheltenham Fine Art, Pegasus Art, Stroud, Brewery Arts, Cirencester and I am currently working with David and Ali Thistlethwaite, who are both Artists based in Gloucestershire. My work is described as having a strong sense of colour and energy and trends away from strict photographic representation to find an emotional resonance both for the viewer and myself.
