My first shoot with John today at matrix studio near Rotherham. Can’t believe our paths have only just crossed as we are both local :)

John is lovely and creates incredible portraits, he knows his lighting and makes sure every shot is perfect in camera. I do love a perfectionist when it comes to creating images!

We shot for a couple of hours shooting various lighting sets up for portraits.

The 2 hours flew by and the images looked fantastic on the back of the camera!

100 percent recommend by me.

Whoop so excellent to have the pleasure of working with the exceptional John :D

Pre comms are perfect, he arrived at the studio early to get set up, and we kick started the day over coffees and getting ideas together for our shoot!

I love working with John, not just because he is an incredibly skilled photographer, but because he has awesome taste in music, he’s fun, professional, you learn tons, the time just flies by, and yes you know you’ll always get great results from the shoot :)

John is also a bit of a perfectionist but I say that in the best sense because the results speak for themselves, beautifully flattering lighting every time, once the lights are right you’re left to just do your thing.

Throughout the day we worked through several sets of fashion, lingerie, portraits, fashion-nude, and art nude.

Still very highly recommended and looking forward to the next time!

I had my second shoot with John recently, this time in the studio. We worked our way through some stunning portraits into fashion. The results out of camera are stunning! John certainly knows his way around lights and I can’t say there was one bad shot! Very easy to work with and we share a similar taste in music which is always a bonus! If only I lived closer, I’d shoot with John more often! I’m super excited about the images we shot and know that there will be some amazing ones surfacing soon. Had a wonderful first shoot with John in South Yorkshire , I was excited for this shoot after seeing some of his beautiful work and I was not disappointed . Through the afternoon we tweaked the lighting and styling and after every session there were some stunning shots . John is a very talented man with a great deal of knowledge . I was comfortable on the whole shoot and John was always conscious of this to ensure that I was happy.

I had my first shoot with John today, really eager to get working with him. I can’t express enough how brilliant the day went.

John knew exactly what he wanted to achieve in the shots, played around with lighting ensuring it was spot on. He even helped with the styling a couple of 3-4 sets on portrait and beauty each shot he absolutely nailed and delivered.

Pleased with the work we produced.

John is very friendly, one of the most relaxed and easy going chap and very apologetic (not a bad thing) whilst maintaining that professionalism. Great attitude to his photography which evidently shows in his work.

John is a dream to work with and is definitely one of those who you’d love to work with over and over again. Hands down recommended 100%

I had the absolute pleasure of working with John for the first time recently! He came to my home in York along with his lovely parted Charlotte. They arrived on time and full of energy!

What a lovely couple - very chatty and warm. John shot me for two hours, and Charlotte assisted.

He came prepared with some specific shots that he wanted to do and once we smashed through them John was able t experiment a little. John is a very talented photographer with a great deal of technical knowledge! He knew exactly what he was doing and my job was super easy! John is clearly very passionate about what he does and it comes through in the images. I saw some really lovely shots on the back of the camera and I'm looking forward to seeing the final results.

John was professional and respectful throughout. Chatty - and very good timekeeping!

Ooh its so good to work with a new face! I had the fabulous pleasure of shooting with John this evening for a couple of hours at the Matrix Studio in Rotherham.

Pre comms were on point with moodboards, and everything was planned and in the calendar within minutes, John arrived early and ready to shoot, and wow I was seriously impressed with John’s knowledge, dedication, and talent. Not to mention great taste in music :)

It was so great to have a shoot that was purely my favourite genre, fashion nude! We got through some awesome sets within our time together and I’m so excited to see the final edits as I know they’ll be gorgeous.

John was so easy to work with, fun, easy going, and just a genuinely nice person, I can very easy and highly recommend him to any model :)

I had the good fortune of shooting with John again for the second time this past weekend. As ever, John was an absolute pleasure to work with, the whole experience from start to finish was brilliant. His communications are always impeccable and clear, leaving no room for uncertainty over what the plans will be. John kindly helped me with some shots I needed for my agency portfolio, and had a clear picture of what we wanted to achieve, preparing various lighting set ups accordingly. He is unquestionably talented and on my list of go-to photographers whom I can fully rely on and absolutely trust. I was instantly drawn to the polished and effortlessly elegant aesthetic of John's work so was very pleased to find out that John wanted to work with me. John has an exceptional understanding of lighting and the ability to manipulate it so well that I was blown away simply by the sneak preview of the raw unedited image on the back of the camera. Despite a few hiccups with misbehaving equipment he persisted and problem solved like a true professional and managed to produce some stunning images. John and his partner were very welcoming and I would definitely recommend working with him if you get the chance.
