We looked over mood boards he had created to inspire the shoot and experimented with the lighting to achieve this. He paid great attention to detail and communicated his ideas well. He provided a fully-equipped shooting studio, great coffee and a positive and productive atmosphere. We shared vision boards to achieve that elusive Fine Art Photography effect. We shot a boho / vintage / countryside royalty / oil painting portraits, a shoot that required great attention to detail and an artistic imagination.

I had such a great shoot with John at a golf course near me, we wanted to capture the autumnal trees and backdrops with big ballgown dresses. I love working with John, he's got a great sense of humour and I always feel completely happy and comfortable throughout our shoots. He has got an amazing eye for detail and knows what will work, the images on the back of the camera looked beautiful! He made sure I was warm throughout the shoot as it was a pretty windy day!

Had a fantastic last minute shoot with John yesterday!

I shot with John last year when I first started out Modelling and he's quite possibly one of my favourite photographers yet. He's very chilled and laid back which allows the shoot to flow a lot more smoothly.

He has great idea's and great vision, he was able to give me direction when needed and made me feel comfortable at all times.

I would definitely recommend John and I hope to work with him again.

I had such a wonderful shoot with John today at an old abandoned farm house, he used the light really well and just knew what would work making sure to perfect the look he was going for. He also had a really good eye for creativity, and the shoot was going so well with ideas flying around we decided to shoot for another couple of extra hours.

He was very professional and made me feel comfortable throughout, letting me see images as we went a long which looked so good on the camera. John was easy to get along with which made for a fun shoot.

We finished the shoot with the sun setting behind me which was a lovely end to a brilliant shoot.

I'd highly recommend him to anyone! I can't wait to see the images!!
