Just started coming back to portrait photography after taking a six-month break.

My name is John Hughes and I've been photographing since I was 12 years old (now in my 40's) and I have a real love for it. 

I have a real passion for street photography ever since my first school trip to London in the 1980's with my photography teacher [url removed]lewood. I found myself photographing people more than buildings etc, so I depict the people in their everyday lives. 

I'm more drawn to street photography as I find photographing strangers easier than with people I know. Plus being out on the streets you just never know what you're going to get and its that not knowing that keeps me going. I never leave home without my camera and yes this drives my family and friends crazy. 

It's Street photography that got me interested in doing Portraits, I've found a real love for this. I've put all my time and energy into capturing the perfect moment. 

I now specialize in Portrait and Street photography. I enjoy taking photographs of candid moments, different sceneries, and transforming ideas into visions.
