I had a truly incredible shoot with John at my home whilst I was in-between tours - the timing was absolutely spot on as John contacted me about the specific date, I was miraculously free and at home at the time which seems almost rare these days haha! But I have to say that Johns communications and creative passion for his photography was absolutely on-point from literally the first few messages! We had it all sorted in quite a straight forward exchange of a few emails: John told me about his pursuit of shooting film with models and I was so excited as it’s quite a rarity to shoot with a photographer who shoots film nowadays - serious credit to John as he quite evidently enjoys what he does and is in his element with all the patience and creative vision to get those killer shots. :)

The plan was to shoot at mine using the natural light - all good as my place is normally streaming with the stuff! :P But I was thoroughly impressed by Johns articulate care taken throughout the session as he went through the processes with his various film cameras to set up the exposure etc. so everything was bob-on... Now remember that we live in Yorkshire and it’s second in the list of places after Scotland for having all the seasons in one day! Even when it doesn’t “look” like the light has changed: it quite possibly might have done; alas, this did not phase the driven John one single smidge as he soldiered through with an impeccable eye for the style of shot he wanted to create... Plus a notable degree of technical genius-ness! :) John had some image ideas he showed me prior to the shoot (mood board style) and this gave me a good idea of the direction we would head - making use of the furniture and drapes to create the mood and atmosphere. Essentially the shots are quite simple in context, but it’s got to be one of the most productive available light shoots I’ve had at home where the innovation was rocking amid the simple beauty of the concepts we racked. :D

I can furthermore confirm that John, as a person, is an upstanding gentleman with a very professional approach to his shoots. He comes offering utmost respect and courtesy for those he is shooting... He respects models levels and is someone that I felt exceedingly comfortable working with. :) He’s also a really sociable and friendly chap which makes a one-to-one shoot like this that bit more fun because you can chat away as you work/between sets and it’s an important aspect of rapport developing. I subsequently found it very easy to strike a good rapport with John - I felt that we bounced off each other with good yield, but the pace was also relaxed and positive too.

So yes - I absolutely recommend John. Very highly in fact! And I do hope that maybe we get the chance to work together again in the future.

Amazing third shoot with John a few days ago! This time we’ve been working in my place, as I had another room to try . I’ve asked John because I know he loves vintage cameras and I also do. Always very professional and chatty, the shoot was enjoyable and productive. Looking forward to work together again!

Great second shoot with John a few days ago. After the first shoot we had, I realized I really wanted some photos taken by him in my portfolio. John has several vintage lenses, and I really love the style of them as it's something really different from what I usually uploads. So we organized an half tf and I am really looking forward to see all the pics! John is a super creative bloke and we like similar style of photography. I am sure we will have other collaborations in the future!

Superb shoot with John today in my place! I still can't explain myself how we could work together just now and we are so close ! John has the perfect style of photography for my taste. I love the way he uses light..his black and white are unreal..I've asked him to collaborate with me soon as I need some of his photos for my portfolio and he also is a perfect photography teacher as he knows a lot about cameras, lenses and editing! John is not only a great photographer, but also he is really professional and friendly.

Looking forward to work together again, apparently very soon.

I had my first ever shoot with John in my flat in Leeds and we had 4 hours together !

John was so lovely to work with ! He was a great company as he was incredibly easy to chat with and he was also really relaxed about our shoot. We didn't rush and took our time to create outstanding images and we definitely achieved more than we expected.. Results were amazing, John has a similar understanding of erotica photography as me so that made it even more pleasurable :). John has great skills, he's really good at what he's doing and he's very knowledgeable about it. It was a great 4 hours in a nice relaxed atmosphere.

I would definitely like to recommend John to every model and I am really looking forward to working with him again. Thank you :)!

I had my first shoot with John at my place yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it.

John is a lovely, friendly person with buckets of enthusiasm, a good technical eye and I was put at ease immediately with his relaxed, easy going nature.

John is very knowledgeable about cameras and I was particularly excited that he turned up with a Hassleblad.

I love his style of photography and would happily shoot again.

Had a amazing shoot with John today!

John is a really nice guy, super easy to get on with.

We did a few different natural light sets in the few hours we were shooting.

John had plenty of idea's but also was happy to listen to any input I had.

The shoot just flew by and we made some stunning images.

I had the lovely pleasure of working with John for a couple of hours at my studio day at Yorkshire studios recently ..

John came with lots of ideas and images he wanted to create and I think we managed to get through a fair amount in the short Space of time we had X

John was very easy to work with, very chatty and I had a fantastic time working with him. He was very professional , confident and experienced with the lighting etc.
