Hello and welcome to my little corner of Purpleport
I'm a full time photographer and re-toucher, whom along with my wife Michelle run the Swindon based studio JMW Imaging - I'm also the 2021 Societies of Photographer's Creative Photographer of the Year, and was Runner Up in the 2023 Beauty and Boudoir category.
I am a firm believer in that a photographer must have two main attributes…the ability to create a professional image, and the ability to communicate with the person on the other side of the lens be it a paying client or a model.
Happy to shoot most genres but I do have a soft spot for 1940's / 50's 'Film Noire', Cosplay and Elvgren / Vargas style of pin up.
Michelle's passion is macro, fine art and close up photography, although she has been known to shoot models time to time for personal projects.
Michelle holds a Fellowship along with 2 Associate qualifications with the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers and a further Associate the Royal Photographic Society - whilst I hold an Associate with the SWPP and currently shooting for my Fellowship.
