About Me

I am a full time professional photographer based in Chelmsford Essex with my own studio. Pretty much all the pictures you see on my portfolio are shot here. 

My area of expertise is classy art nude, sexy casual style. I love nothing more than spending time getting the lighting exactly how I want it. I get a little anal with the lighting at times but the extra time spent on this is certainly helpful for the finished image. 

I tend to shoot a certain amount of collaboration work with the models that suit my style. Honest truth is, I need to stop doing collaboration shoots but I just love creating. 

Whilst I am happy for people to message me with offers of paid modelling work I have to say it is extremely unlikely as I do not shoot commissioned work for clients in this nature so all this work is because I love shooting these images. 

WOULD LIKE TO WORK WITH

When I add people on the WLTWW Would Like to Work With List, this is more a case of me saying I am interested in your look and style and would be interested in chatting if you were also interested in a high quality collaboration shoot. I understand this is not always clear when we click this button however there is no other button to say we would like to TF etc. 

As for what you would expect to receive from the TF shoot, I do not give out Raw or high resolution images, this is my personal choice and respect anyone that chooses to do so but I will not be, what you do get is very professional high end retouched images. I have calibrated monitors and spend a great deal of time getting the image to an exacting standard. I am a quality over quantity photographer meaning you will get a smaller amount of images but each will be of a very high standard. 
I pride myself in my work, my selection process and my retouching level. It is all self taught however I believe it to be of a good standard. 

The shoot itself is always very laid back and relaxed, I have music pumping out the whole time and always looks to select certain playlists to suit that desired mood. You will have to put up with me singing but better that than silence I say. 

INEXPERIENCED MODELS LOOKING FOR PORTFOLIO WORK. 

Whilst I totally understand there are many many photographers on here that will work for free and give you free pictures. If you book a paid shoot with me, I will coach you and help you with getting the best from the shoot, I will help point out areas that you can improve on and how to be aware of the light in order to maximise your picture hit rate. I will spend time with you afterwards going through the images and show you why I choose certain ones and leave out others. This is a skill that is learnt as a photographer over many years and as such, is worth spending the money in order to receive outstanding images that will catapult you into the modelling world. I do not charge large amounts for my shooting and it certainly doesn't cover anywhere near the amount of hours spent on the shoot and editing but it is worth investing the money.

I am constantly updating my portfolio with new images which are regularly on the most viewed list in Yesterdays Love (Apologies if that comes across as conceited, it isn't meant that way). 

Training, Tuition and Editing Sessions

This is something I keep toying with offering. Having my own studio and shooting with the very best lighting brand (Profoto). I have a really good amount of knowledge that would help particularly the starters and mid level photographers. I am not conceited enough to think I can help everyone of all levels however I would happily chat about training one to one sessions that can include the whole process from set up to edited and printed pictures.
Please get in touch if you would like to chat about this in detail, I will arrange a model based on the style you would like to shoot. The session will be very relaxed and fun and I won't be looking to charge crazy money for these sessions. 

 

 

Printing to include Portfolio Images up to Poster Printing

I am fortunate enough to have a very large format printer and can do images up to nearly 4ft wide by any length you like (you could have a 6ft x 4ft ish life-size image for you wall haha)
I constantly print posters, banners and portfolio images. Both my printers are fully calibrated with spectroproofers to make sure the image is as close to colour perfection as the image captured (this will never be 100% exact because of colour gamuts on different devices but I won't go into that here) needless to say, they will be the best you can get. I have a wide selection of papers all the way up to Hahnemuhle Fine Art Papers to simulate real paintings. Please get in touch with your requirements and I will give you a quote.
