I'm a realist painter.  I work with charcoal and oil paint, and am in the process of developing a more academic style.  I  The teachers I've worked with most closely are Brandon Soloff, Rick Piloco and Devin Cecil-Wishing. 

I work on figure and portrait studies and am experimenting with different styles and approaches.    But since working with a model is a collaboration, it works best if there's a rapport and a meeting of the minds about how and to what end we're working.  The energy and concentration that each of us brings to the work matters a great deal.

I'm looking for a model in for private work, which is fairly intensive, although  lately I have time for only once or possibly twice a week, if you and I can find mutually convenient times.
