So I have done a couple of group shoots with James and as always he is very professional and always gets a lovely shot!

He makes you laugh! So the shoot is very relaxed direction is great and always likes your ideas too!

We shoot with film and from the photos I have seen already! I absolutely love!

I 100% recommend him and will be working with him again! :)

James is a lovely photographer to work with. He makes you feel comfortable instantly and has a fun sense of humour! I had an amazing shoot with him at my home studio.

We created some beautiful images together and best of all, he sent me the photos via dropbox just days after.

I hope we will be working together again very soon and would wholeheartedly recommend him to other models!

Had a shoot with James as part of a group shoot with Project X!

My character was an alien, and James had some amazing ideas for this - changing the white balance so my skin was tinted blue (to match my hair and makeup) and editing my eyes so they were completely blue too!

The pictures that I have seen look really cool!

Alongside this, James was super friendly, fun, easy to get along with, and the shoot certainly wasn’t boring!

I would definitely recommend James for a fun shoot :)

Had a short and sweet shoot with James at the beautiful "charmed" event run by ever realm.

He had some analogue film which he used (always love the results of film!)

The shoot was relaxed and we got some stunning results!

He even treated me to a crumbled biscuit, I felt like a top class model eating it on the muddy floor of the forest.

Jokes aside it was a real pleasure to work with James and hope to work with him in the future.

I recently shot with James as a part of a group shoot involving several models and photographers, and he was wonderful to work with!

It was a real treat to shoot on film, in both colour and B&W formats (although he also shoots digital) - for me James is a perfect balance between providing specific direction, and allowing you freedom as a model to play with ideas and poses. He knows his lighting very well, is friendly and easy going to work with, and also sent over a couple of images very quickly after the shoot. Highly recommend! x

Pre comms were great, the shoot flowed and he is super easy to work with, he was also super attentive and kind to my animals which were acting up a little bit when we were shooting! :,)

Thoroughly recommend him and I look forward to seeing the pictures!

James is an awesome photographer who has wickedly good skills in photography who knows what he wants when it comes to photography. His images always come out the best and James is great to have a laugh with while on set shooting. We are setting up a LOTR style shoot next year which will be awesome as i will have my daughter on board as my mua.

I would definitely recommend him to anyone who is out there looking to start modelling. Thanks James, I love working with you.

James was a pleasure and a diamond photographer to work with again. His work is remarkable and clear as crystal images. He was a laugh too and down to earth, easy to chat with. James and I have shot together twice before but this time I got to work with Tony for a third time on 'The Healers' project with the PortraitX team and I had a fantastic time! We got some absolutely fab shots that I'm really looking forward to seeing edited and published.

James is always attentive to my comfort throughout the shoot and he shows me his images as we go along which really helps me get a feel for the shoot.

I am always confident that when I work with James I will get a fantastic result!

Louie theroux had booked me whilst near the City of London, I had to change the times last minute and he was very flexible to go ahead with that.

He turned up early, early enough i missed my porridge n coffee, ah well he just have to wait untill ive finished my coffee :) well I would of made him a drink but we only had two cups lol

His style of photography is very film noir, black n white elegant images, shooting with Film and Digital.

Overall Lovely person with a Great Personality! Oh and Professional :)

when i met james at portraitx, he truly was a gentleman and he introduced himeself as i did in return. We only got to work together in the studio whilst doing make up and after it was done, initially i was put in a group where james was supposed to shoot me around the park, but it didn't work out that way.

when i got james edited pics back i was "wow" these are really awesome! i would definately work with james again in the near future with and without portraitX, and wil recommend him with out Hesitation!

I have had the pleasure to work with James several times. I met James at the Letchworth camera club when I modelled for the club members. We also worked together on one of the Portrait X shoots. Our last shoot was in my place when him and another photographer were capturing images of Lupinenoir and myself for promotional purposes. James came up with his idea giving both Luke and myself very specific directions to achieve the best outcome. He was also happy to work with Luke's and my ideas and add to them. He is so easy going and so friendly. And as I learned on the Portrait X shoot, he is very considered of model's comfort/ needs. He gave me regular breaks from shooting to warm up as it was very cold that day. The time flew by so quickly on Saturday and all four of us had such a laugh. I believe it wasn't our last time shooting together and there will be more shoots to come.
