Jez Sheard Photography

My name is Jez, and I am a headshot and portrait photographer from Bradford, based on the outskirts of the city in a little town called Cleckheaton.

After leaving school I studied Art & Design before moving onto photography, which I studied at Bradford Uni. Music was my life back then so I spent a lot of time in local clubs photographing the rock and metal bands that were passing through.

For many years now I've photographed people, both on location and in the studio. Why portraits?  I love people and personalities, seeing the similarities that unite us and the differences that make us unique. People are fascinating.

I would say my style is aiming at classic, though it has been described as organic which I thought was fitting. A reference to the simplicity and collaborative way in which I work.
