The Shed (essex)

We welcomed Jess to her first shoot with myself and Simon today. Pre shoot messages were spot on and we had a clear understanding of what we all wanted to achieve as both Simon and myself had different looks we wanted to photograph. Jess turned up on time and kitted out with the discussed outfits and hair and make up done to a great standard. She settled into the shoot well, joining in with the friendly banter while remaining professional throughout….. we really hope she will come back to our little studio soon.

Had my (our) first shoot with Jess yesterday at The Shed Essex along side Kezz Wesley.

Pre shot communication were excellent and Jess arrived armed and ready with clothing to fit the discussions beforehand.

Jess is so cool, she poses with ease and style, took direction really well and was so patient with us while we changed various lighting settings through the shoot.

As with all my shoots there is a lot of banter and Jess joined in 100% making it a really fun shoot, delivering some amazing images which I am yet to sort through.

I would love to work with Jess again in the future.

Had my first shoot with Jess today this week and I feel sure it wont be my last. She has a really strong look, super clear skin and is a pleasure to work with.

Pre shoot coms were spot on and Jess was full of ideas, easy to direct and great company.

Jess arrived with a small but well selected range of clothes that looked great and were perfect for the shoot. Jess was professional, enthusiastic and she did a great job with her hair and makeup. I got some fantastic shots and Jess was super easy to work with, needing no direction. Exactly what I was looking for. Well recommended. Thanks Jess.

A windy day kind of left us shooting from the back foot for most of the afternoon. Still, Jess was great, and the images are looking good, and there will be more to come in the future.

Yesterday I had my first shoot with Jess. First of all I would like to commend her for travelling so far with so many train changes. Such dedication!

Jess was fun to work with (she laughed at all of my jokes) We worked through a number of sets throughout which her posing was natural and charming. Also she responded to any suggestions I made including balancing large pieces of pottery on her head. Nothing was too much trouble.

Prior to the shoot and during her journey Jess communicated well and on her way to our shoot she kept me informed of her journey's progress.

I am pleased with the shots we got and would recommend Jesslouise to other photographers.

No Class

We had a brilliant shoot with Jess for a proof-of-concept short film. Pre-shoot communication was really clear and simple and she was very enthusiastic and responsive to the ideas. On the day Jess was super professional, polite and very patient...which was just as well because we all got drenched in a downpour before shooting at even begun!

Jess attended our club's 'model night' last night and was a delight to work with. Everybody loved her look and she responded well to direction. Bearing in mind most of our members don't get the chance shoot in a studio set up with a model I was impressed at how she made everyone feel at ease and emboldened them to direct her poses.

I look forward to working with her again, this time on a one to one shoot.

It was lovely to meet Jess this evening, she had travelled some distance to model for one of our regular photographers.

Jess worked effortlessly throughout the shoot to ensure the photographer captured the images requested and they both seemed to have a good repour and chatted and laughed throughout the session, we would welcome Jess back anytime, wonderful person and a wonderful model.

Jess is just a pleasure to work with. After working together at her home a few months ago. I suggested that a studio shoot be planned. Jess travelled a long way for our two hour shoot and she is just great to work with, plenty of outfit change options were brought with her too. Great shoot with Jess today at her studio day at Barlow Studio. Thanks to my poor planning this was a last minute shoot and therefore I had no chance to discuss ideas with Jess beforehand. However the professionalism of Jess shone through my clumsiness and a number of outfits where produced that suited my hastily arranged shoot perfectly.

How good Jess is was also shown during the shoot itself, Jess is an accomplished photographer in her own right and has a great understanding of how light works and so very little prompting with poses was needed. The shoot flowed smoothly from shot to shot and all to soon my allocated time was over.

I will definitely be booking Jess for another shoot soon and this time with more planning.

I have no hesitation in highly recommending Jess to all photographers.

Had a great shoot with Jess at her Model Day in Ipswich.

After a quick chat and a view of my mood board, Jess had the ideal outfits and was very easy to work with. She took on ideas, but did not in reality, need a lot of direction.

A nice chatty person, very professional and the time flew past. I managed to get some great images from the shoot and would recommend Jess.

I meet Jess at her model day in Ipswich. Jess is very personable and very easy to get along with, poses very well and easy to give directions to.

I had a very relaxed shoot with Jess at her location, which is well lit with two large windows. We worked on my new project "the magic frame" in front of Loughborough university, which turned out great. We got lost at the RDV point which is a lesson learned for me about sending exact coordinates prior to the shoot. Luckily Jess was super professional and posed like the pro she is. I highly recommend working with her, I will definitively shoot with Jess again. I am really pleased with the results we got. Jess eyes are incredible :)
