I'm an amateur photographer from eastern United States, 63 years old and widowed. I've had cameras since my early teens however it's only over the past eleven years that I have become serious about my work. I consider my self a learning photographer and always will be or assume you're so good you don't need to anymore. I believe we never stop learning and shouldn't ever try to stop. I love to experiment, try new techniques, or use tools that add something unique and unusual. Additionally I am intrigued by light from various sources and how it can be applied to create a look. Style wise I prefer images to have an expressive or emotive quality.  

It should also be noted that I am not particularly fond of trying to talk about myself. So I guess I will end this here and maybe revisit later.
