Ivory Flame

John came to work with me at my home studio and local forest locations for the day, it was great to see him and catch up since it has been quite a few years since our previous shoots (back in the days of The Hacienda!) John was full of enthusiasm, and it was a really fun, easy going and productive day, with a fab mix of creating, chatting and reviewing images together. John worked the light beautifully and created some really moody and evocative, beautiful imagery (with added funk of bringing latex for some studio shots!) Happily recommended!

John contacted me to organise a shoot at Basford Hurst Cottage and of course, having seen his work with the incredible Artemis Fauna I was thrilled!!!! All pre comms were great and John arrived on the day of the shoot on time and brimming with ideas for the shoot!!!

Throughout our time together we shot through a range of sets together, including some fine art nude, some quirky poses and angles, a lingerie set and some portraiture work. Every time I looked at the back of the camera I was absolutely bowled over by the work John was producing!!!! He has the most incredible eye for composition, lighting and angles, and really knows how to use his camera to the best possible potential. I felt completely at ease working with John and I might go so far as to say that he has shot some of my favourite images so far...!!!!

I am currently sat trying to pick out 'a few' favourites and needless to say I am struggling....!! Haha!

Thank you for a wicked shoot John and of course I would highly highly reccomend!!! Looking forward to the next one!!!!

Artemis Fauna

After about 8 years-! John and I finally shot again back in April (sorry on the delay in the reference!)

We made the most of half a day at Basfordhurst studio and between the catching up we took some really cool images indeed :D

Love the results (I managed to miss them as I wasn't tagged on PP) but I will go through now and put some tag requests in ;)

Thank you John for booking me again, can't believe how much time had passed- but it was just like the good old days ;)

Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

John came to Basford Hurst Cottage to shoot a half a day with Artemis Fauna. It was a pleasure to welcome John to Basford, he arrived on time with everything he needed for the shoot. We had a chat over a cuppa and after a quick tour around he began shooting with Artemis.

Throughout the shoot John worked really hard to create many wonderful images and was always respectful and polite during his time here. He was always happy to ask if he needed anything.

We would happily reccomend John and really look forward to seeing him again soon!! Thank you for booking at Basford!!

Tink Kaos

Had one of the most enjoyable and creative shoots to date with this lovely fellow, a couple of weeks back, at Antwerp Mansion in Manchester - you know those shoots when you inherently understand the artistic vision of each other, and it just flows perfectly? Yeah, John is a bit of that. He's fucking excellent.

We shot a mix of power fashion (suits and shiny boots innit), strong monochrome nudes, mirrored moments, played around with depth of field, angles, shot outside in a floaty pink number, rolled around in some dust - it was a perfect shoot!

John is very friendly, super artistic, brilliant mind, charming, chilled and highly respectful - an absolute G. He's immense. Would recommend this soul to all models and creatives, top lad innit.

Had an amazing remote shoot with John today! We'd shot before at a workshop and got some cracking shots, so was so happy when he messaged to book. Pre-shoot plans were brilliant, he had great ideas and knew what kind of lighting he liked. During the shoot he was really lovely and chill, we got some amazingggg images. Really enjoyed the whole shoot!
