Tokka

I shot with jon yesterday at skylarks studio whiles he was over these side for his holidays. I shot 1-2-1 with both james and jon and then shot a duo with the beautiful model jade. Jon is very lovely, easy going and funny! He’s great at showing you back of camera shots and ensuring your comfortable all the way through the shoot. Ours was a clothed bondage shoot which has a pretty cool story to go with it.

Hopefully we get the chance to work together soon

Very friendly and chatty, the shoot flowed well, felt very privileged to have the chance to work with Jon as he is from Australia and rarely comes to the uk! Skylark Studio

I organised another shoot with Jon, this time at my new studio in Bromsgrove.

We invited models: https://purpleport.com/portfolio/tokka/ and https://purpleport.com/portfolio/jadelg/ along to Skylark Studio, and we both shot with each model individually, and also worked together on some Duo shots.

Jon worked out all of his lighting setups in advance, and chose some possible outfits for the models to wear (from the studio's large collection of modelling clothes), and turned up early on the day of the shoot.

Jon immediately found a good rapport with both models, and quickly put them at their ease, and continued a good working relationship with them (and me) throughout the shoot.

Jon helped me light certain shots, and contributed great ideas throughout the day, all of which assured we got the best out of the equipment and the models, and captured some really great photos.

As well as his cinematic and lighting skills, Jon is also a talented rigger, which skill he also put to good use on this shoot.

I can't recommend Jon highly enough, he's one of the most talented amateur photographers you are ever likely to meet!

Skylark Studio

I organised a shoot with JDKP at a studio space I was leasing in the Big Peg (Hockley) back in 2013.

I've known Jon for ever, as we went to both school and University together, but he's since emigrated to Australia and we rarely get the chance to meet-up let alone shoot together.

We shot with @sashababyx and 2 other models who aren't on this site.

The shoot went really well and everyone was very happy with the images we produced.

Jon is a professional independent film maker back in Australia, and a talented amateur photographer with over 20 years experience, and his knowledge of lighting is second to none.

He's only rarely present in the UK, so if you have the chance to shoot with him when he's here, you really don't want to miss out!
