I shot with John for the second time today at The Boardroom and it was lovely as always! He was punctual and polite but always ensures that his fab personality shines through! Conversations just flow naturally and I couldn't believe time was up! He showed me some of the images as well and from the back of the camera I could see that they were excellent! Would highly recommend working with him and hope to do so again soon :)

Today was my first shoot with John and I was so happy! His prior work is of a very high standard so I was really looking forward to our shoot. Pre shoot comms were spot on and I knew exactly what he was looking for. He is very easy to get along with and a perfect gentleman.

Can't wait to see the final images and hope it isn't too long until we work together again soon.

John and I had our first shoot together a couple of weeks ago at NLS. John's preshoot comms are spot on, he sent over a comprehensive mood board to plan the shoot and my packing - the theme for the shoot was ballet! We also did a couple of portrait sets so that I could rest my toes, John was very understanding about the need for that in the planning stage which is always appreciated :D I really enjoyed creating some epic images with John, he's a total gent and great creative to work with. Hopefully we can shoot again some time, and I recommend him to other models for sure! :)

After few tries, I finally had the pleasure to work with John on a ballet urban shoot.

Pre-shoot communication was excellent.

John was very open to my ideas and arrives well prepared and organised with his moodboard, absolutely lovely pictures!

We managed to create great images, very happy with it!

John is also a lovely person to work with. I am more than happy to recommend him!

Had another great shoot with John at Square One studio this week. Pre-shoot communications were excellent, as he sent me links to his panel he is completing for the Royal Photographic Society, and to moodboards as well, so I had a clear pre visualisation of the kind of imagery he wanted to work on. On the day, he kindly picked me up from the station, and we were able to spend the day focused on achieving his objectives for the RPS, but with time left at the end of the day to play and experiment creatively. John kindly showed me the photos on the back of his camera as we went along and I thought we achieved some really lovely ballet and dance imagery.

Highly recommended, and I hope we will work together again. Thank You, John. :)

I had a great shoot with John and his club yesterday evening. It would be hard to imagine a more enthusiastic or affable bunch of people. The shoot started outside to make use of the available light and then moved inside the village hall that had been hired for the purpose of the shoot. The members seemed genuinely appreciative of the opportunity and made me feel very welcome and relaxed so I tried a few things I might not have done otherwise - just going with what came to mind in the moment. The members were happy to let me do that but also asked for specific poses when required.

A great evening and I would most definitely recommend John and the club. Thanks for inviting me ......

I worked with John today on a half day shoot covering different dance styles for his personal project. Johns pre comms were excellent and he was very understanding I needed to rearrange. John had booked a fabulous theatre in St Albans which combined with his lighting made for wonderful images. He was kind enough to pick me up from the train station and also brought nibbles along! I found John to be very respectful, polite, relaxed and overall a charming person to work around. He allowed me to free flow with my own ideas for poses but was also very helpful in guiding the shoot to get the best images. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend John to anybody and I had a fantastic day.

I had an hour-long portrait shoot with John at Origin Studio last week. It was a pleasure to work with John - his pre-communication was excellent and I knew exactly the look he was after and what I should bring before the shoot. John was friendly and polite and I would happily work with him again - recommended.

I had a wonderful all day ballet shoot with John and memebers of his camera club on Wednesday. Pre shoot communications were very good and clear, with John sending me a link to moodboard images. John orgnaized the shoot at Square One Studio, and we had a great time experiemtning with the space, lighting, and the facilities there. We created some beautiful motion blur results, and John also used the gel lighting and smoke machine, to magical effect. I was very happy with the photos I saw. John also very kindly picked me up and drove me back to the station, and he was was very friendly and professional throughout the shoot.

Highly recommended. :)

I had a half day shoot with John at my home location last week.

John bought along lots of inspiration shots which was a great help for me- I like to know what the aim is going to be for the shoot!

We chatted a lot, but also took loads of really super and varied photos. :) The shoot really flew by and I can't wait to see the results and hopefully work with John again one day!

I worked with John the other day at Full Moons lovely studio in Gloucester. It was our first time working together and I couldn't have asked to work with a nicer photographer! John is passionate about photography, attentive to lighting set ups and trys his best to achieve beautiful photography. I found his enthusiasm in photography inspiring and he was a lovely warm, approachable and professional person to be around and work with.

We worked on a mixture of Hollywood inspired photography portraits and nudes, with great banter and conversation throughout. I had a lovely shoot and a smile on my face when I went home- so thats always a great day! Highly recommended and I hope we work together again :) Helen x

I had the pleasure of working with John at his Camera Club recently where he was running a tutorial on portraiture. Pre shoot communications were probably some of the most thorough and detailed I have ever had from a photographer and I felt more than equipped to arrive fully prepared and knowing exactly what to expect before the shoot. John is an absolute professional and made me feel incredibly comfortable and looked after throughout the shoot. His technical ability was proven in his ability to very successfully tutor the members of his Camera Club on various different lighting techniques. He is also a great communicator so direction and feedback were spot on throughout the shoot. I would highly recommend John and I would love to work with him again in the future. I modelled for john just yesterday, it was my first time modelling for him & he told me I was his first 1-2-1 model! Wow!

He was amazing, brilliant with lighting, he made everything look so effortless and natural, I really loved working with him, he was great at conversing with me, told me before the shoot what kind of images + mood he wanted to capture from our shoot,

He was brilliant before the shoot with communication and telling me what he wanted me to bring along aswell as supplying a moodboard!

We got to a beautiful location above a shop and I can't say how amazing the place was, there isn't many buildings like that around or that you can access! So beautiful!

I can't wait to see the final images from yesterday I had brilliant fun & felt so relaxed!

Really great shoot and I can't wait to shoot with John more!

John attended my lighting course at the weekend. He was a pleasure to have along on the course and really contributed to the day. John was polite and respectful to our model and all the other people on the course, and I would recommend him to any model.
