I had my first shoot with Jane a couple of weeks ago during my studio day at the art asylum. (sorry this has taken so long) I had previously met Jane while working with her partner Sean at the studio, so it was really nice to get to work with her. I always find female photographers tend to have a good eye when it comes to portraiture, but Jane's work is stunning. Jane has a fantastic imagination and had thought up with some very interesting concepts for the day. I'm very excited to see how they turn out. She was friendly and conversation was easy, I would love to work with her again in the future. Can't recommend her highly enough.

I have met jane a couple of times previously when I have attended the art asylum for shoots, though never had the chance to work with her. I didn't really know what she had planned as there was some last minute changes to the day's schedule but she was so lovely to work with. Jane has a very calm and serene way about her which helps you to relax, I'm looking forward to seeing the finished images and certainly hope to get the chance to work with her again.

Our camera club, YPG and Jane/Sean organised a brilliant and fun shoot with the wonderful Missy D and Lizzy D at the amazing Art Asylum Studios. Very friendly, making endless cups of tea, the studio is cavernous and varied, the time flew past and I love the images. Thank you for a fab shoot. Would highly recommend and hope to shoot again soon.

Vengeance

Had an amazing two part shoot with Jane and her partner (Sean) recently. Both shoots were a huge challenge for me but both held something that I really wanted to overcome.

Prior to the shoot, as well as post shoot, Jane's communication was utterly flawless. Jane explained in full what her vision and exactly what she aiming to capture. I trust both Jane and Sean implicitly and had the absolute comfort of both Jane and Sean repeatedly reminding me that I could back out of either shoot at any stage. They are both perfectly professional.

Jane assisted her partner Sean during the first shoot and I honestly could not have asked for a greater and more compassionate mentor.

During Jane's shoot with me it was a 'no makeup' challenge which even a few months ago I would have run a mile from but Jane has a tremendously loving eye and this was the perfect challenge. Jane has an incredible sense of calm about her, her interaction during the shoot just completely made me drop all anxiety.

I love Jane's working style, she's both chatty and totally engaging with the most amazing smile. Her approach to her work is a cross between candid and posed which often heeds the finest results and sets the stage for a more natural expressions.

Jane's lighting is also fantastic, she really understands how light effects the overall image and enjoys playing with it to her advantage.

I didn't actually tell her at the time but she pulls THE most amazing poses when she's behind the lens, at one point I really did want to pinch the camera off her and show her how amazing she looks.

I digress

In all Jane is not only a top tog but a wonderful person with a great heart and encyclopedia of really useful tips and advice. 100% would recommend working with Jane without a shadow of doubt.

Vengeance

I was absolutely thrilled to get the opportunity to work with both Jane and her partner Sean yesterday. It was a truly magical experience to be a part of their creativity explosion.

Jane was amazing to work with. I was so anxious and I really felt a great sense of calm and understanding working with Jane.

Jane has the most incredible idea's and a really exciting creative streak that no one could not fail but to be impressed by and in awe of.

Jane's ability to artistically paint my face was simply AMAZING! I didn't even recognise myself, just outstanding craftsmanship.

Jane was warm, caring, considerate and highly professional throughout. Jane has such a keen eye for detail and overall composition that you are left in no uncertain terms that the end result will truly be sensational.

I would recommend working alongside Jane to absolutely anyone and everyone without hesitation and I truly hope I get such a fantastic opportunity to work with her again.

I was thrilled when Jane booked onto my studio day at the Art Asylum. Having worked together before I knew I would come away from the session with something more than just images. The planning and thought that went into Jane's idea was phenomenal with mood boards and costume ideas shared for weeks running up to the shoot. Jane commissioned a custom piece for our shoot and I couldn't wait to wear it for her. As always friendly, relaxed and incredibly professional. I adore working with Jane. the resulting images are not just photos but art in their own right and I feel very privileged to play a small part in their creation. An absolute must for all models!

My second shoot with the amazing Jane! After several weeks of planning and idea sharing Jane really let me go to town on the outfit for our warrior shoot. (Allowing me to hack up half her collected items to create something new) when I arrived Jane was set up and ready to shoot immediately. As before her relaxed nature and easy going personality making shooting with her a dream. We moved fluidly through several poses and sets and I was allowed to pose freely. Jane offered direction and suggestions to get additional shots and her use of light and different back drops to get the desired effects is very impressive. The edits are fantastic and working with her would be a credit to any models portfolio. Jane comes with my highest recommendation.

I had the absolute privilege of having my first shoot with Jane at the Art Asylum in Weymouth during Easter Weekend. We had chatted before the shoot about her ideas and shared images for inspiration which was very helpful. I felt well prepared and happy going into our shoot. During the shoot Jane's friendly and relaxed attitude made the time fly by. We tried a series of angles and lighting changes to get the perfect shot. I'm absolutely thrilled with the finished image and I'm incredibly excited to be working together again soon. Highly recommended!
