Had my third shoot with Jim a week ago and wow was it a good one. From the first pre-shoot messages he was very professional and well organised, he arrived at my home in good time and took me to some beautiful woodlands. He ensured I felt comfortable with all of the levels required before shooting. He was friendly and great to chat to but remained professional throughout, capturing some great photos and making me smile throughout the shoot. Over all a wonderful man with a real creative eye and fantastic skill for photography. 100% recommended 5*

All communication leading up to Jim’s 1st shoot here at the Scorpion Residence Studio was how it should be.

On arrival, I found Jim instantly likable, thanks to a great sense of humour and down to earth personality.

His model Rebecca Leah was rather lovely and they clearly have great chemistry and is no surprise to see that to date, Jim has 116 positive references out of 116, including this one :-)

I had my... goodness I have no idea of the number now... I have had so many shoots with Jim, and that basically says more than I could say in any reference. Jim is one of the few photographers I have worked with so far on my return to modelling, and again, that speaks volumes. I love our shoots, and already looking forward to the next one :)

I had my second shoot with this lovely man on Friday, during my tour down in London and Kent. All preshoot comunications were spot on and I knew exactly what to expect from the shoot, what levels were needed and what outfits to bring. On arriving he collected me from the station and helped me with my huge case! Such a gent. On arriving at the studio he made sure I was 100% comfortable with all the shoot ideas and remained professional but friendly throughout the shoot. The time flew by and we created some wonderful images and videos. A dream to work with! This man is a cracking photographer and a lovely man! HIGHLY RECOMEMDED 5*

Had another shoot with Jim today after a lot of bad luck in the last few months and not being able to make a date work. He was always very understand for when I had to move the shoot around duo to other issues.

This shoot was very much over duo.

I do love shooting with Jim, he is such a great guy to work with. I was really look forward to the shoot today and it did not disappoint me! The shoot was such great fun, we got to have a good laugh together and created some brilliant images together. He is always full of great ideas.. I lie not always great ideas.. spraying me with water I didn't enjoy but well worth it for the picturess!! haha ART darling!

You will always be well looked after when shooting with Jim.. he even now has GREEN TEA (and my favourite one).

Expect to be well educated with lots of different style of musics too! Which I always enjoy.

This is the first time I have worked with Jim and it most certainly will not be the last! He booked me on my latest Kent tour and straight after our shoot I think we both had one of those moments where we just paused and thought: why on earth have we not worked together before now?! We hit it off right away and got some beautiful photo sets done as well as laughing about the craziest of things, I felt very comfortable working with Jim and did certainly get the vibe that he will always operate with an etiquette to make the models who some and shoot with him feel totally at ease. He offered to not smoke in the house for my comfort, had regular drinks on the go and also fed me my first mince pie of the year! :D Jim is a very laid back gent, our shoot went at a pace that allowed us to get plenty done, but also so we could review the shots as we went along which was nice as I always love seeing the productivity as it happens.

When Jim and I first started communicating I found him such a breeze and ever so helpful with the arrangements. When I asked if it was possible to do a time switch on the day we had booked, he was totally cool about it and understood how important it is to touring models to get everything to fit. He was clear with instructions on how to get to his place which helped a great deal, and gave a hand with suitcases/bags. The shoot itself was a breath of fresh air as I would work through my usual posing repertoire and Jim has a very good eye for adjusting his angles and working in conjunction with different models poses. He picked up on this right away and move around to get the most gorgeous shots - I had the easy job for the first few on the bed set, meanwhile Jim was doing squats/bending into awkward positions to frame the composition and operating the lights effectively to balance with the natural light which he did very well indeed. He's very good at utilising a set to give variety when shooting and even just by altering the lights, Jim was able to give a completely different feel to the images altogether! :D

The edits have recently been sent over to me and needless to say, I love what we created! :D I typically shoot outdoors a lot and have signature styles people tend to shoot so I don't shoot boudoir (as it were) as often as the other styles I shoot but Jim did a fantastic job and captured a whole host of moods. Them we did some stunning body-scapes (a true favourite style of mine) and WOW! Beautifully artistic, abstract... the full package. Top Marks for Jim for the lighting set-ups he manages from his place because a lot of people think body-scapes are straight forward and in actually fact they can be trickier than first meets the eye.

Did I mention we were cracking up with laughter ever two minutes and bouncing off each other? Absolutely lovely chap! :) Thank you so much Jim it was a real pleasure.

Had an awesome shoot with Jim. We shot already a number of times before and I always have a great time. He's friendly, professional, lovely to chat with. Our shoots are relaxed and fun and he takes great pictures.

I have shot with Jim twice, the first over 7 days in Spain and the 2nd in Kent. He's a great character, has a good eye for his creativity. The shoot flew, even the week in Spain, which was a shame as I loved working with him. He's super easy going, he's open to outfit/styling suggestions (which is a bonus for me as models often see clothing differently in a location or set). I know we will work together again soon. Oh and finally, he has great knowledge for producing, so if you were also looking for any help with publishing online-this guy is your man.x
