Working regularly with models. 

Former freelance photo journalist used to working under pressure, travelling a lot and shooting with clients under a range of conditions and locations. Published images and articles in national and regional printed media and newspapers, mostly documentary, lifestyle, PR and sport work. 

Now a part time photographer with a passion for lifestyle, portraiture and fashion photography.  

Inspired by the lifestyle and fashion photography used by surf and outdoor brands such as Billabong, Oneill, Patagonia, Salt Rock etc. and it would be good to shoot some of this style as the weather improves (we can but hope 😂). 

Experienced in studio photography, off camera flash and working with natural and available light, and location. 

I enjoy travelling and have assisted on photography workshops in Rome, Venice, Krakow and Prague.

I also assist with the delivery of photography workshops on  documentary, street portraiture, studio and street photography. 

I shoot frequently in black and white especially for portraiture and lifestyle work where I'm looking to capture the person's character, but I'm equally happy and competent working in colour, especially for vibrant fashion. 

I prefer working on location and discovering new angles or settings in familiar places, especially urban or coastal environments.

I'm easy going and aim to create a stress free environment on shoots, trying to get the best from myself as photographer and you as the model.
