This was my second time working with Jann, this time remotely. We worked through eight sets during our shoot including gels, which although required a lot of tweaking, Jann was patient and easy to work with.

I hadn’t had the chance to work with Jann for what felt like aaages! I just don’t know where time goes! And: in the past it’s mainly been outdoor location work that we’ve done, so it was really wonderful to have not only a studio theme this time for variation... But a flour studio theme! Yes, yes, yes - when Jann told me that she would see me on the workshop I was over the moon. I really was. :D

Now the event took place between lockdowns one the brief ‘safe’ period to work during the dreaded year of 2020. Fortunately; the organiser has been really thorough with putting safety measures in place which meant myself and the photographers could enjoy a relaxed and creative day. It didn’t stop us having a grand ole’ time, chatting a plenty (masks where possible of course!) and allowing prolific rapports to get to work as the magic started happening. :) I cant stress how big a positive it is for me knowing that I’ve still managed to team up and make pictures with such passionate and enthusiastic people as Jann, even though a pesky little virus has done it’s best to put the majority of creative events on hold this year. It does give you some hope and joy when things can be executed in a safe (and still fun/enjoyable) manner.

Jann was there for the whole day (across two sessions) so this allowed us to get different work still in the afternoon than we had done in the morning. It’s also quite a good thing for having that break in-between, to review what you’ve been getting and then mix it up for the rest of the day. :D Given just how quick the day went, I’m glad I got to shoot with Jann for the whole day as we did hope to shoot later in the year but you never know with things being up in the air like they have been with Covid... So I’m really buzzing that Jann totally nailed it on the flour workshop getting some really beautiful shots. And she did too - I saw some for myself! ❤️ She has a really eloquent eye for a good image and when we had our turn to shoot during the rotations she would fire ideas and direction at me for poses that she wanted to capture. Sometimes it was a spontaneous pose in my repertoire but Jann saw the chance to nail it better maybe with a slight adjustment to her angle or the pose symmetry. We were very determined when this happened haha! :D but it payed off massively - the pictures echoed with wow.

Overall, Jann is a really sweet person and a joy to work with no matter what the occasion. She’s professional in her work with models and extremely easy to gel with... I imagine her getting on well with literally anyone to be honest! As such; I (of course!) massively recommend Jann and honestly will be so excited when we can push forward and shoot together again. :) A fabulous lady with a heart of gold.

Fabulous first shoot with Jann at Natural Light Spaces! Her precomms were fantastic- Jann very much wanted to capture all my aerial skills.

I had a brilliant time working with Jann to create some truly stunning images :) I loved what I saw on the back of the camera and she was capturing my movement so beautifully. I am very excited to see the final results!

Jann is such a lovely person and was super friendly throughout the shoot. While we covered a lot, she was more than happy for me to take rests whenever I needed. Truly professional attitude and very kind at heart.

What a wonderful woman! I have had the pleasure of working with Jann and it’s always a wonderful experience. One of the loviest, humblest people you can come across. This time however was slightly different, rather than in person, this was virtually but this didn’t phase Jann at all in fact she was a dream to work with remotely. Understood the format, shot some amazing pic and it was tethered so I could also see the shots she was getting. I hope she was as pleased with the results as much as we were. Jann attended my UK Manor Event last weekend. We had a gorgeous manor home in the North Cotswolds that had lots of shooting opportunities both indoors and outdoors. Due to Covid-19 we had to separate the shooting areas and basically have a large game of Cluedo,with cleaning breaks in between, to make the event safe and within guidelines. Jan arrived on time and was very respectful of the social distancing and guidelines that we had to have in place.

She worked incredibly well alongside the photographers she was paired with and it was a pleasure to host her! Jann is a such a kind, respectful and genuine person and she is more than welcome on any of our events in the future - we already look forward to hosting her again in November on our next UK event :D

Jann booked to come along to my model day in Wales, I was so glad she did, she is such a nice genuine person and great fun to be around, she has great ideas for images and knows exactly what she is looking for, she treated everyone with respect and made the models feel at ease. Jann is such a joy to work with! I was so incredibly happy when she attended my trio event at Natural Light Spaces with Nice Dee and Tillie Feather.

Before the event started I discussed with all photographers how the event would be run, and the few rules that I had, and they all agreed to comply without hesitation, which increased my trust in those attending.    

Jann is so incredibly lovely and kind, and she is totally open to ideas, but she is also not afraid to direct to get exactly what she wants for her image. She is incredibly talented, super professional, and has a wonderful eye for photography.

Aaahhh what a sweet pleasant lady Jann is! She is a experienced photographer who knows how to take a great picture and put forward an idea if she feels it's needed.

There is no chance you could have a bad shoot as well as not warm to such a gentle soul as this lady is the sort of person that models want in the industry :)

It was such a pleasure to shoot with her again and then to see her pop up again a few weeks later at Tillie's event was an added delight.

The lovely Jann signed up for my 'dynamic duo' shoot at The Loft. Sadly my second model cancelled on me 30 minutes before the shoot so I was desperately trying to makeup for this! Luckily I did manage to find a replacement model who was a star so all was not lost :) Jann was super understanding about all this despite a 4 hour journey there and back!!!! Jann is a really lovely woman - really laid back, easy to work with and got on well with the other photographers. She shot some fantastic images and I hope to work with her again.

I have been lucky enough to work with Jann twice this year and I was absolutely made up when she booked onto my creative Miss Haversham event at the Boardroom in Derby. A lovely lady, simply fun and easy to be around and takes beautiful images. She will really go out of her way to get that shot... she even went up ladders to get images of me on the floorboards when she’s not good with heights... so needless to say I was really impressed with her and actually super proud that she went up there to get those shots. True courage!

I highly recommend Jann to all models.
