First shoot with James today!

communication before the shoot was great, was very well planned and put together. He knows exactly how to get the perfect photo as well as allowing you to use your own ideas.

I felt very comfortable throughout the whole shoot, James was very professional and chatty and I was very happy with how the shoot was going from the very start to the very end.

Would definitely recommend James as a photographer and I would love to work together again in the future. I can’t wait to see the photos now!

First shoot with James few hours ago. Such a great experience working with him! Pre communication was basic and clear, we’ve been experimenting few different outfits, studio light, natural light, portrait and full length photos. I’m usually a natural light woman but I have to say that the studio light James had was excellent and I really loved the results using it!

James was really professional as well as very friendly and chatty. He gave a little direction but left me free to do my own poses.

Photos are amazing and looking forward to use some of them for my portfolio!

I first met James when I was working on a location shoot for the Black Rose Ball. The shoot went really well and we got some great pictures. He's a brilliant photographer and a dream to work with. He also has a bit of a theatrical background and is great at giving direction.

I have since worked with him a second time doing some portraits, which was equally lovely. I have also recommended him to friends of mine who have since worked with him. He's a sweetheart and I highly recommend him to anyone in York in need of a photographer!
