I've had the pleasure of working with Marc multiple times. He's professional and friendly. He's welcoming, puts you at ease and likes to have a clear goal for the shoots. I've always been more than happy with the work he produces. I'd recommend him highly.

i worked with Marc today for the first time and what a welcoming shoot it was!

prior to meeting today, the communication was great. It was very well organised and i was made to feel at ease as soon as i got there....not to mention the building we were shooting in was absolutely stunning.

He really knew the image we were after and walked us through each look.

Very friendly guy and would definitely love to work with him again.

Can't wait to see the images. :D

Where to start! I love working with Marc and Mark; they work so well as a team, shooting alternately and with their own different ideas. It just works! Always a pleasure, always a laugh and professional quality images are a given. This shoot had the added bonus of an incredible listed mill building & grounds. They always show exceptional care and respect towards me, any model would be honoured to shoot with them. Thanks guys

I worked with the lovely Marc at his fantastic well equipped studio in Crewe on a studio day and really enjoyed myself!! The first half of the day were 4 hours of individual bookings- the second half of the day was shooting with Marc and his wonderful photographer friend Mark D Houlton. Marc had also kindly organised a fantastic MUA (Rachael Cahalin who was amazing to work with and really contributed to the stunning portraits we all did together in the second half of the afternoon.

Marc was super organised for the day, kindly organised the bookings, was extremely kind, considerate and a gentleman to work with, making sure I was happy, with plenty of green tea on tap. Marc talks for England but is the most wonderful man to work with, as he is super approachable, very down to earth and fantastic around people from all backgrounds. He is also super helpful and always on hand during the studio session for the photographer. Super highly recommended and I really hope I get to work with you again, Helen x

Marc booked me for a day at his studio, part giving tuition to another photographer and part working one to one. The whole day was a complete and utter blast and by the end I was already looking forward to the next chance to do it again, a fantastic guy and a truly talented pair of eyes behind that camera. :) The way we dropped right into this proceed had prolific written all over it, it takes only a few moments for Marc to access a model that he works with for the first time before he is pulling yield from a shoot and stretching the potential as far as it will go.

It's been said on many occasions before I am certain so I will just confirm it again based on my visit. :D The studio is wonderfully comfortable, warm, clean and versatile... Models are well catered for with changing space and plenty of hot drinks (Marc even had peppermint tea for me!) There are so many superb options to play with in terms of controlled sets and also natural light in a more urban decay setting - put it this way running out of ideas will not be an option for those that book the place. Marc has lighting knowledge and abilities in photography that reach across a whole spectrum of styles, he lights up a look so beautifully in just one quick assessment of what needs to be where.

I highly recommend Marc just for the fabulous rapport and fun-loving banter, I knew from the moment he collected me from the station that it was due to be a very enjoyable day packed with entertainment. However it really was the full package in terms of top-rate professionalism, pristine coordination with arrangements, laughs and photography passion.

A definite No.1 nomination from me! And I can safely say that models scheduled to work with Marc will come away from their shoot thinking very similar. :)

I was one of the lucky 4 to attend Mischkah's studio day at J16 studio recently

An excellent studio conveniently located near to the M6.

Marc has a relaxed and clear method of teaching and was happy to answer any further questions as we went along. I felt I learnt a lot through the session and got some fabulous pictures.

I have already booked for further events at J16 studio, which is recommendation itself.

I had a second shoot with Marc today at the immaculate J16 Studio, we did a studio day in which I modelled while marc gave brilliant & comprehensive tutoring to four photographers. It went swimmingly and i thoroughly enjoyed the day. I am always looked after well, kept warm and fed and watered, with lots of laughs and banter throughout the day. His lighting is no less than perfect in every shot, the equipment is top standard, as is his tuition. I can highly recommend him to photographers and models alike. A true gentleman, respectful and professional to the highest degree, with some fantastically creative ideas. always a pleasure.

I had a last minute shoot with Marc at his studio in Crewe last week. Setting up the shoot was easy, thanks to his excellent communication. The studio was warm, ready for my arrival, which is always appreciated! Very considerate, respectful and worked at a pace that wasn't too tiring. Marc had some impressive kit at j16, & I was honoured to be photographed by his hassleblad! :) he had some wacky ideas that I was delighted to be part of. We experimented with different lighting set ups, all of which worked really well. He knew exactly the type of shots he wanted and so was able to direct me accordingly where necessary. A very enjoyable days work with a genuine professional who has a passion for what he does. Great company, top class brews, :) highly recommended by me. Thanks Marc

I have worked with Marc as both model and make-up artist and he is full of energy, has a really fun positive outlook and really knows his stuff when it comes to lighting too. Very creative and provided great pre shoot coms too. Recommended!

I had my first shoot with Marc last Friday while i was on tour, Marc is lovely to work with. We had a very early shoot so Marc made sure i kept warm and well fed through out the shoot.

The shoot was well organised and thought out and I'm really happy with the images I've seen so far. Marc also has his own well equipped commercial studio which i really enjoyed working in.

I hope to work with Marc again soon.

I recently worked with Marc on a seminar he was running with Calumet, It was very professionally ran and timed beautifully. I would love to work with Marc again, he is a brilliant photographer and teacher, I have received some of my favorite portfolio images from the day I spent with him.

Marc is a great photographer and this shows in his images as does his creativity and ideas, he is a very easy to get along with gent and you feel at ease shooting with him right away.

I was shooting out on location in Leeds with Marc and made a rainy day bright by making some great images. I would recommend anyone to work with Marc. :)

Marc Byram is a very talented photographer! He's easy to work with and gives excellent direction/advice. I had so much fun working with him, I was completely at ease the whole time. I had my first shoot with Marc today, he's a very easy going, creative, funny guy and we got through some very creative ideas of his. Marc is very professional and makes great effort, in making sure the lighting is just right :-)

I had my first shoot with Marc@J16 Studio last Sunday, I had a very good time, Marc had brought together a great team, we had a long day and we've managed to cover so many looks I can't even remember how many! Marc is very professional and funny at the same time which made the whole experience a delight! The studio was well prepared and warm. We worked like pros and I think the results speak for themselves. I am soooooooo looking forward to do more work together! I highly recommend Marc to anyone!

I worked with Marc again yesterday at a model day he had asked me to do at his amazing studio J16. It was a great, productive day and some amazing images were captured. Marc is a pleasure to work with and extremely good at what he does!
