Had the pleasure of a sunny afternoon/evening with Richard last Sunday. Preparation for this shoot, in both communication and kit, was faultless. Friendly, professional, keen eye for a great location and excellent local knowledge. Particularly thrilled with his foresight to bring reference images of example poses to help us make the most of our time. Some absolutely fantastic shots coming back. Heartily recommend.

We planed shooting some moody ethereal portraits with Richard along with some conceptual stuff. We seemed to be graced by the coldest day of the year which curbed our enthusiasm somewhat, yet we still manage to create some good art.

Richard is really chatty, friendly and down to Earth, exceptionally passionate and creative but also quite relaxed and care free. Focused on getting the right shot, not shying away from direction but also happy to take my lead or try out model’s ideas - a perfect collaborator! Modest and always improving on his already impressive skillset - I can see him going far and I am looking forward to our next shoot already!

Richard responded to my tutoring/collaboration casting and came over today for some basic lessons in studio lighting. He was absolutely brilliant - patient, professional, engaging and really accommodating. He tirelessly explained and demonstrated a few classic set ups while remaining fun and chatty - hours flew by.

I feel lots more confident in my understanding of studio lighting and I am really looking forward to working wirh Rich again, be it with some more tutoring or working on some epic conceptual portraits in near future (sans the red nose!)

I had a very enjoyable shoot with Richard who was very calm, personable and professional in his approach and going by his port and what I saw today BOC - clearly has a special talent for photography. I felt totally at ease with Richard who is good with ideas and direction and it was a very productive session. I cannot wait to see the contact sheet and final edits and very much hope to work with Richard again :-)

Very relaxed shoot. Good communications and excellent results. Richard shows a keen desire to get the right shot and is an artist at work. We wandered around the NQ in Manchester and he took shots of me in various locations over a couple of hours. Very friendly and produced some cracking images. Highly recommended

Had a quick, two hour shoot with Richard last weekend. All great in the run up, plenty of communication and discussion of ideas and themes.

On the day Richard was relaxed and easy to work with, happy both directing and letting me adapt poses, and we got some great shots in a relatively short space of time. Definitely recommended and looking forward to working with him again.

I arranged a tf shoot with Richard, shooting portraiture on location in Manchester.

I found communication to be very good, Richard arrived punctually and we had no issues. The weather wasn't as planned so we did have to adapt and improvise a little.

The shoot was fun and relaxed, we got a lot done and Richard gives good direction. I was comfortable and treated with respect.

The unedited images look very promising and something I feel would benefit my portfolio.

Richard is a genuinely good photographer and a really easy guy to get on with. I chose to work in Richard because of his previous work was the exact style that I was going for (I was in dire need of a decent work portfolio shot to update my LinkedIn) and he went above and beyond my expectations.

In term's of his photography, he's very adaptable, up for trying new ideas and generally flows with the shoot well. In terms of his personality, he's an easy going guy and very easy to chat with. For me, finding a photographer, especially as a girl on purpleport that's comfortable to be around is a huge bonus.

He comes highly recommended from me!

Richard is really easy to get on with, you can have conversations with him during the shoot and will be completely relaxed!

I did a cosplay shoot with Richard, with a couple of other photographers and models.

He produces high quality images and is very fast at sending you images, and if he isn't able to do it straight away or soon after, you are warned of this fact.

Definitely shoot with you again.

I had so much fun shooting with Ric on Sunday. Pre-communication was great and he was very understanding when I needed to reschedule the original date. He is incredibly friendly and easy to work with. He has lots of ideas and gives good direction when it is needed, I definitely recommended him and I would be happy to work with him again.

Myself and Richard work together on a lot of shoots - so far they have all been studio based. Richard is very good at organising a variety of shoots and will give advice when needed. He is easy to get on with and is very good when assisting with other shots when it comes to needing extra gear such as flashes etc. I have worked with Richard twice previously and have two more shoots coming up with him between 12th July and the end of August.

Absolutely love working him!
