A Brief history....
When I originally joined Purpleport it was as a photoshop wizard. I rather mistakenly thought at the time, that my skills in PS were good enough to tout myself as a retoucher... I soon learnt that certainly wasn't the case. After editing and manipulating other peoples images for quite sometime, I decided I really needed to start photographing my own.
I do not consider myself a photographer as such as many of my ideas nearly always involve some creative editing. I do love the 'digital darkroom' side of things, though I am beginning to learn how to try and 'get it in camera'. Hopefully my portfolio gives you some idea as to where I am with all this at the moment.
