Amazing shoot with mel. Mel is very talented and simply has an eye for good shoots. Before hand she arranged the shoot and gave me all the details. It felt fun, interesting and so easy going, which i knew as time flew quickly. I would highly recommend mel, she is one great photographer

She gave me lots of guidance on poses and lighting and I learned a lot. It was obvious that she has extensive experince as her guidance was very well thought out and came from a bank of experince. Another amazing shoot with the incredibly creative and fantastic photographer, Mel. It’s always such a joy to shoot with her. She brings so many brilliant ideas, props, and outfits, all unique and exciting. I’m always eager before our shoots because I know it’s going to be something truly special and fun. This time, she came with incredible cyberpunk outfits, sparkling makeup, and whimsical Alice in Wonderland-style costumes. She even found some mushrooms to create dreamlike, fantasy shots, one of which was featured as the studio’s photo of the month!

We also did some moody, Halloween-inspired photos with stunning purple lighting that gained a lot of attention and won an FPI. The results were just incredible. Working with Mel is always effortless and fun—we laugh, chat, and she’s always open to my creative ideas. Shooting with her is such a joyful experience. Thank you, Mel, for another amazing shoot! The results are fantastic, and I can’t wait to see what new ideas you come up with next. Looking forward to working with you again—keep creating!

I had such a fantastic shoot with Mel in the Art Asylum studio! Our pre-communication was excellent. Mel wrote me all her ideas and plans, which were really fabulous, and I was really excited to try them! We agreed on looks and outfits, so it was easy to prepare and know what to expect from the shoot.

On the day of the shoot, I met her in the studio! She was so friendly and enthusiastic! She was happy for me to be crazy, pose as I wanted, and create the outfits! I felt a full freedom of creativity! We had so much fun during the shoot! Mel is such a lovely, nice person! We had some laughs, and the time flew by so quickly!

All the photos looked absolutely stunning! Mel was so kind to send me some edited images after the shoot! 😍

I had an absolutely fabulous time working with Mel today in the studio. Her attention to detail, professionalism and overall is a lovely person to spend time with. Her quality of work shone through in terms of direction and making sure I was comfortable throughout the shoot. She included breaks between costume changes and allowed me to be myself and have fun, whilst also working towards the creative ideas we had discussed. As a beginner to boudoir I am so happy with the images and what we have created. I hope to work again with her in the future and would recommend her highly. x

I have worked with Mel previously model to model, and was really excited to have the chance to model for her on her new photography journey!

Although Mel is "new" she really is fantastic to work with, and a lot of fun!

We done some fairly simple studio work but the results really surprised me, and I'm really impressed with what she managed to capture.

Mel is already a pro behind a camera like she is in-front of one, and I'm really excited to see what she does next!

Art Asylum Reloaded Photo Studio

I have known Mel for a long time having worked with her as a model and have watched her progression into become a photographer as well.

The great thing about Mel is she is a sponge that soaks up information and watches and listens to learn her craft.

She has also done some online training to make sure she knows her camera and how to use it properly, which is fantastic as it shows a real determination to be the best she can be.

This is showing in the work she is producing and not just the taking of the shots but her editing skills afterwards. This is all part of becoming a better photographer and I know she will succeed as she is so dedicated to learn.

I would highly recommend Mel to any model as she knows what she is doing and makes sure she will get you the best shots.

A pleasure to welcome to the studio and I look forward to watching her progress more and more.
