I had the pleasure to shot with Iilka for the first time. His wife was there to assist and they are both wonderful people. I had a great time and they took great care of me. Illka is also a great photographer and he knew what kind of sets he wanted to create and he was well prepared.

I also got to have a look at the photos during our shoot and be involved in the making and adjusting poses. I had such fun time and super happy with our result. I look forward our next shooting again! :)

Ilkka and I got talking and he asked me to do a remote shoot with him. I'm not a technical person at all so finally he asked me to do a remote shoot with Ivory Flame at her home studio. Two hours of Ivory been the technical person and then 2 hours duo together. Holly was just fantastic for me to work with as I adore her exceptional eye for detail. Ilkka had very professional and clear communication threw out our conversations. He defiantly has a great eye for a good image and is very encouraging during the shoot. Both he and his wife who attended have a lovely manner and where friendly and welcoming. I would be delighted to work with him again any time in the future should I be so lucky to be asked ! Thank you so much Ilkka.....x

I'm leaving another reference here for Ilkka, since I've had further positive remote photoshoots with him now (as well as in person last year)

He is always very friendly, respectful and happy to go with the flow, appreciating the skills, comfort and experience of the model.

Recently Ilkka arranged that another model Fleurdelis came to my home studio, where I set-up the remote session for them to shoot together for 2 hours, with me assisting, and then us modelling together as a duo for a further 2 hours. It worked so well and was a great idea from Ilkka! Happily recommended :-)

It was my first session with Ilkka and communication before shoot was very easy and I always like easy communication. He already had plan and ideas what to shoot. He had some snack for me and some traditional Finish food and it made me happy.We had nice and relaxed first session and I Hope we see each other again in summer for outdoor session.

I got so painfully behind on my references from the tail end of 2023 into this year for many various reasons (my life being the main one!) but finally here I am with my cup of herbal tea catching up!! :)

I shot remotely with Ilkka (and his wife) whilst hosting 29hrs of remote shoots from my luxury villa in Lanzarote back in December.

Communication up to the shoot was great and during the shoot Ilkka had his wife on hand to help with communication/ the language barrier.

After an initial difficult start (strong winds on the Island made me need to restart the wifi router) we were cooking on gas and got some amazing images in the 2-3 hours we had :)

I enjoyed the shoot and really hope to work with Ikkka remotely again soon!

I found Ilkka to be a very enthusiastic, passionate photographer over the multiple times I've worked with him - both remotely and now in-person in Finland over 3 days. He and his wife Jaana (who assisted our shoots) are both so friendly, professional, respectful and kind.

During my time in Finland I was treated very warmly, with chance to explore a range of different locations and styles from studio to coastline to stunning forest, with really beautiful results. Ilkka embraces a collaborative approach... so sharing my experience was encouraged and appreciated. The creative duo of Ilkka and Jaana were absolutely brilliant to work with remotely and we are soon shooting again. For over two years now I've embraced the possibilities of remote shoots and no, I'm not going to lie, it's not the same as shooting in person, face to face, but it does bring unique benefits to the table: meeting people from all around the world, allowing to create as a team more sustainably without traveling/flying around the world, and although there's the webcam between us, it allows for a creative team effort and a rich experience and great results.
