References for Ija Del Mar

I had my first shoot with Ija in my Brussels studio. It was a fantastic experience. I found Ija a very sensitive person (besides being absoluterly gorgeous of course), which means she so quickly understood where I wanted to go with certain scenes, and she did amazing with some experimental/expressive themes we did. We covered many levels, and she totally excels at each one of them.

Ija always brings het partner to a shoot and I found this really helped in creating a relaxed, fun and still really productive atmosphere. We all felt totally at ease with each other. (her partner also happens to be an excellent photographer btw, so we could chat about lenses and gear). Pre-shoot communication was also very quick, clear and efficient. I love that.

This was one of those shoots I will remember for a long time to come, with enjoyment and satisfaction. Now I'm off to processing the many super shots we made. Needless to say I recommend Ija warmly and passionately.

Ija was gewéldig om mee samen te werken. Ze heeft erg veel ervaring geen dat merk je aan alles. We hebben (veel te) veel mooie foto’s gemaakt, goed gelachen, een fijne babbel gehad,…. kortom eigenlijk alles gedaan wat fotoshoots zo leuk maakt.

Ze doet erg haar best, heeft zelf ook plezier in het model zijn, heeft weinig sturing nodig maar ze volgt wel zonder morren alle aanwijzingen die je haar geeft. Ze is ook erg openminded en dat vind ik persoonlijk een heerlijke eigenschap.

Haar partner is evenzeer fijn gezelschap en ervaren genoeg om zich onzichtbaar op te stellen.

Ik ben nog volop aan het editen, maar ik ga zeker tevreden zijn over het resultaat. Of Ija dat ook gaat zijn… geen idee, maar hopelijk kan ze er toch een paar uitpikken waar ze tevreden mee is. Mijn stijl is waarschijnlijk compleet anders dan wat ze gewend is.

Ija is een echte aanrader voor houdt van schoonheid, plezier en kwaliteit tijdens het shooten.

Ik hoop van harte dat ze na het zien van de resultaten nog eens met me wil samenwerken.

As part of their UK tour, I had pleasure today of shooting Ija Del Mar and I am so glad I had this opportunity. She is a beautiful lady with a natural poise and a lot of fun. It was clear she was an experienced model, she followed direction well but also came up with her own ideas which worked really well. The thing that stood out for me was that she is a very natural and easy going model. She was accompanied by her partner who was a big help setting up the scenes and lighting. This was a duo shoot with LadyDilema and although they had only recently met, the two models worked together as if they had known each other for years. The whole shoot was professional, a lot of fun, and I came away with a lot of very creative content. I am hoping she will make it back the UK for another tour and if she does, please do not miss out on the opportunity to shoot this incredible model.

Ija is such a great model to work with! I run a studio and set up a photoshoot workshop with Ija. The comms were always good in the run up to the event, she arrived well on time, and was a pleasure to work with. Her partner stayed in the background and was no problem at all. The shots were great and she is a creative and sensual model in front of the lens !Ill be happy to work with Ija again and one of the photographers booked her again straight away , so she will be back! Sometimes you have been following the work of others for so long that you think you know them. I had that with Ija. How wrong I was! Of course I already knew that she was a true professional. But she was better, more stylish and just more fun to work with than I ever imagined. She takes her boyfriend to all of her shoots. Consider that an added value! Because that's what it is! Thank you both for a wonderful shoot experience!

She had asked in advance if her partner could accompany her and that was also a nice meeting. His presence did not disturb at all and he helped when requested. Ija is definitely recommended!

Just finished a great shoot with Ija. Her pre shoot coms were great. To the point and clear. Just before the shoot is took the time to show me what she had brought with her so that I could choose. During the shoot, she took directions well and came up with good ideas form her side as well. She worked hard during the shoot and at the same time we had a lot of laughs as well. Even her friendly boyfriend participated in a small way during the shoot. A shoot to remember!

Nothing is soo exciting as reacting on a last minute casting. Appointing today and shooting tomorrow. It was fixed in nearly an hour. Ija came with her friend. Although I prefer to have the model 'totally for myself', He is a nice guy and didn't influence the shooting at all. Ija is a very kind and easy going woman. It is very comfortable to work with her, I felt free to make all the images that were in my imagination and Ija adapted and improved even very easy to my way of working. I think we had a good connection and made some gorgeous work. Highly recommend her to work with.

First shoot with a truly great model. Good communication beforehand. She arrived early and never once looked at the clock. Highly professional preparation, we were able to shoot directly when she arrived. The shoot itself was both productive and fun. She is well able to execute impressive poses without direction. I have no hesitation in recommending her to other photographers. I have already booked a second shoot with her.

It was a wonderful and pleasant shooting. She proposed the location which was just excellent. Very nice person to work with, we had lots of fun and after the shooting even talk the evening away. Another fun shoot in Rotterdam - Ija came along for penthouse shoot, with a suitcase packed to brim with lingerie, dresses and props. Pre-comms excellent, arrived on-time and ready to shoot. She's very easy to work with, and once shooting we made of lot fab images together!

I arranged a duo shoot with Ija and Melissa Tongue. Both girls arrived very enthusiastic and looks surprised about my professional studio. We did a lot off different styles and try different light techniques. Everything goes very fluid and both models didn't afraid to give themselves. Ija's boyfriend even help me as assistant with the reflection panel.They both very friendly and understand easily what you want.
