Welcome To The World at ICONIC CIC

We were founded in 2018 under Big Condo Fashion. And simply started just doing fashion events. We did one charity event for RASA Merseyside fighting against abuse/assault against women and young people! We then like most had to take a short break during the whole pandemic!

We came back in 2022 after rebranding in to a charity company, as we wanted to raise more awareness inside the fashion industries! And the affects it can have on the creatives involved!

 

  Our mission is to improve lives by educating and creating inclusive and safe environments for people to come together and express themselves through fashion, beauty and the performing arts. Whilst breaking down barriers, removing the stigmas and creating positive changes within these industries.  We are passionate about supporting people who suffer with mental health and hidden disabilities, that may or may not be exacerbated by the industry. Such as eating disorders, personality disorders, depression and anxiety.  

 

The objectives of the Company are to carry on activities which benefit the community and to provide life skills to the disadvantaged, VULNERABLE & NEET Adults, and people at risk through the use of fashion, dance, photography and beauty.  

It’s 2024 and we are trying to showcase theirs a lot more body types out there, that also have interests in fashion, and also want to see how garments would look on them. Not just “a love island standard” model  🫣  

We are all different shapes and sizes, some have disabilities, some are older than others, etc etc. we want to try and showcase this more in the industry!

 All of us directors have experience in the fields also  …

Myself - (find me here on @fernnyyfern) I have been a Fashion model, and performer since the age of 15 (I’m 34 now…. So that’s just under 20years experience) working with agencies and freelance. I’ve managed to gain a lot of insight into the industry and see how it has changed throughout the years also… we want to build on this more!!

Debbie - is an extremely talented fashion designer.  

And Gemma is a qualified Beautician and the brains behind the company in terms of admin etc 

WHY WE NEED YOU!!  

We are looking for photographers, models, makeup artists, hair stylists, fashion stylists… everything!!! Even down to studio usage!!
If you can help us in anyway please do reach out!!

We have an exciting 3 day fashion festival in April from 19-21st at space in Liverpool. We are looking for creatives to be involved with!!
We are all about pushing those boundaries… finding real talent and want to invest in those that are wanting and needing! 

  Their are also a few other ways you can help us…  
we currently have funding through the lottery and Liverpool and Sefton council however we would like a little more freedom, when it comes to putting on fashion shows and fashion events … as these are currently unfunded. 

 We are seeking sponsorships and donations for our upcoming events, workshops and services throughout 2024. These events and activities are set to benefit thousands of people, businesses and students within the community by bringing culture, inclusion, entertainment, education, services, jobs and networking opportunities.….
