Had a fab first shoot with Ian spilt between studio and location work ... Ian is a friendly and professional person who is happy to take on board some ideas/inspiration . We decided to run through a few ideas , some more conventional than the rest but they all rocked which shows that Ian is able to adapt to different styles/genres. Even though the shoot was pretty chilled we bashed through quite a few sets achieving some very different looks. We even took a wounder into the city to have a bash at some street photography but it didn't quite go to plan due to the number of people. But Ian didn't threat , and just simply retreated back to the studio , so he can handle situations that dont go to plan . Ian is always a sucker for Ice cream just like me ;) . Over all Ian is a wonderful person to shoot with , who makes you feel comfortable and has the models comfort and safety a number one priority . Also clearly loves what he does and enjoys to share the results and work as a team . Thank you and hope to work with you again soon Jessica x

I thoroughly enjoyed working with Ian this evening!

I had the pleasure of shooting a cosplay and two fashion looks at Pathways Studios in Chester, as this was only my second ever non cosplay shoot I'm glad I got to work with someone so friendly who helped me to feel even more confident in what I was doing!

We got some fantastic results and as well as feeling more confident about pushing myself further to try new modelling styles thanks to my experience shooting with Ian tonight I would love the opportunity to work with him again.

He came with some absolutely stunning ideas which were really fun to put into practice, the images looked awesome of the back of the camera and he has an eye for the loveliest of light :)

Bad Dolly

Yesterday I had my second shoot with Ian, this time as a duo shoot with co model Jezebelle :)

We shot at Jezebelles house and Ian was great at shooting with both natural and studio lighting :)

He came prepared with a great mood board that really helped get the ball rolling, as well as a brilliant attitude! Ian is super professional and respectful, he shoots tasteful classy images and is an all round great guy to shoot with! Thank you xx

Ian and I shot together for the first time at one of his local studios. Ian booked this shoot with me 5 months in advance, so we where waiting a long time and it was so worth it!

Ian was a total joy to work with, a pure gentleman. Communication was also great before and during the shoot. He had some fabulous ideas throughout the shoot and the time just flew in.

I can wait until next time.

We attended a group shoot event and Ian was extremely friendly and welcoming, and did a great job of introducing me to everyone and making sure I was okay. We managed to get some fantastic shots and had a great time. I would love to work with Ian and the studio again in the future!

Had a lovely shoot with Ian yesterday on my current tour of the area :)

I hadn't seen him for 4 years (where does the time go?!) so was great catching up and we got some really beautiful images in the 3 hours. He was the kind enough to give me a lift back to where I was staying :)

Ian's a lovely guy and great company, we had a right good natter and the time literally went super quick! Highly recommended and hope to see him next time I visit the area!

I met Ian at Townhouse group shoot where he was the first photographer who I worked with there, he was friendly and I felt comfortable working with him. Although we chose a bit of a dark place to shoot we managed to work it out and get some good photos.

Today while touring Warrington I had the pleasure of working with Ian, and I'm so glad I did! He was on time, had some awesome reference images to get the ball rolling and I felt super comfortable with him straight away.

Ian has a really artistic eye and great attention to detail as well as being fun and laid back to work with. We got a whole variety of sets and worked together to bounce ideas around and improve each set.

3 hours seemed like a few minutes and I really cannot wait to see the results from this shoot!

I've just finished my first ever shoot with Ian and it was absolutely amazing.

I knew from his references that he would be polite and respectful but I couldn't have imagined how easy to get on with and likeable he is.

He knew what shots he wanted and we got them with ease.

During our full day we shot in Llandudno and then travelled to Chester where we shot on the city walls before having lunch at spoons and then going to the studio for the more adult shots.

It was my first time doing rope work and I found so empowering and I absolutely love the unedited pics that I have seen so far.

I definitely recommend you work with Ian, it was such a pleasure. :)

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Ian again, this time at mine and Keira's duo model day and I'm really glad I did.

Ian is great fun to be around. Kept the shoot fun and relaxed, the time just disappeared though.

Ian has a good eye to detail and we got to shoot some different things, as Ian knew when he had the shots required from each set making the shoot productive.

I love what I saw on the back of the camera.

If you get the chance to work with Ian, jump at it. You won't be disappointed.

My shooting experiences with Ian (two accounts of awesome to share!):

Shoot number one:

Ian and I met and shot together initially at Pathway studios last month when a group shoot/event was being held. The format was still 1 to 1 so Ian and I got our designated shoot time to kick-start a rapport/get a feel for each others work styles which was nice. The atmosphere was really good on the day and Ian came across so high-spirited and full of laughs! Even then in a more restricted format he would take great care on the shots to ensure he made some beautiful images and I did get instant vibes that this gent had big regards to make his work special by making adjustments etc. After a very fun-filled and creative afternoon, I was absolutely overjoyed when Ian and another photographer Martyn suggested booking in a joint 1 to 1 full day shoot to allow us to dabble more creatively with the styling and lighting of ideas. That day, our next session was in the diary - no bother at all and I was already excited to smash some more cracking images a month from then. Ian is so organised; pristinely so that there's no toing and froing with emails to get things finalised: it was literally done and in the calendar at the end of that session (even having touched upon the styles we'd shoot) and the next time we chatted was the day before our 1 to 1 shoot having a good laugh about the snow that had fallen! The best and most efficient communications ever! Ian's awesome! :D

Shoot number two:

This was our full day/1 to 1 shoot jointed with Martyn C Griffiths, again at Pathway studios where we had shot previously. Now the looks we conquered on this shoot were ground-breaking: everything from snazzy fashion to artistically lit bodyscapes and Shibari rope work too. All of which were discussed in person beforehand when we parted after meeting at the previous group event so I was able to be all well prepped for the day as I was including the day as part of a last-minute tour. Ian showed the highest levels of respect on the shoot with each and every set change; the rope work naturally involves contact to tie it for the shot but Ian was tremendously courteous at all times and always checked after me to see if I was comfortable. Even with the bodyscapes for example: it's common for me to do them on a raised platform to get the best shapes working so there I am looking around for a table or something and the guys, in no time at all, prepared a lovely soft surface for me so it wasn't unnecessarily straining for the poses. You do buzz with joy more so at work as a model when the people you're working with have an eye out for your well-being and you don't get as shattered when you're treat well: at the end of the shoot I still felt like I had gallons of energy left! This was after a full day shooting! :P

The shots we produced really were something spectacular, Ian has recently edited a few/show me samples and the hit rate is off the scale! I've got big dilemmas in: which do I share first because there are so many good ones! But it's a grand problem to have! :P Ian's a superb photographer and it goes without saying, he'll analyse angles and lighting carefully to make the images look as good as they can possibly appear and will take the time to build a quality lighting set rather than rush it which makes the overall outcome really stunning. He's got an exceptional eye, so definitely expect good things working with him! :)

1 million percent professional in his etiquette and approach, 1 million percent chatty and lovely with a good dose of fun banter, 1 million percent enthusiastic when it comes to investing thought and creativity into his work.

I can't recommend this gent enough! Roll on the next time we get to work together! :D

First shoot with Ian this weekend at Pathway Studios in Chester. He had some really interesting ideas and also let me add to them. We did a mixture of lingerie, nude and Shibari style shots. Really love the images I saw back of camera. The lighting was lovely. Hopefully we get to shoot again in the future :) Highly recommended.
