Ian responded to a casting that I put out, and I was in his area so we arranged a shoot for the same day.

Pre comms were spot on. We discussed ideas and talked about Ian’s darkroom and various film cameras he had…. I was super excited for shoot day.

Ian is a great guy and equally great photographer. He had props and ideas ready, and combined with what I had bought along, we created some fabulous images. Ian is very creative and we had lots of fun playing with light. We even lit a fire in the fireplace and captured some gorgeous shots in front of the fire and used candle light. The whole shoot was lots of fun!!

Had an amazing shoot with Ian yesterday. Preshoot comms were excellent and Ian made me feel comfortable as soon as I arrived. He's a great photographer and it was fascinating to see all the different cameras he has. He's also very interesting to talk to and a true gentleman, completely professional and respectful. I really can't recommend Ian highly enough and hope we get to work together again.

Little Bluebird

I had the most fabulous shoot with Ian yesterday. A true pro who knew exactly how to get the best out of each image and I believe has managed to capture the essence of my soul which is a true rare thing. Furthermore, how often does one get to be captured on film via a genuine victoriana or Edwardian camera?

What a blast! Highly recommend and hope to have more shoots in the future.

My first shoot with Ian was great - Ian is hospitable and welcoming, flexible with arrangements and easy going.

Ian wanted to test his new kit so it was a laid back shoot on location, where Ian was professional, informative, easy to talk to and lovely to work with.

I hope we can plan some more shoots in Ian, it was a pleasure!
