I have had the pleasure of shooting with Ian a few times before now.

First time I met him was at the classic car shoot group event where his pictures were some of the best to come out of it ,and he came up with some unique concepts.

I recently had a wonderful opportunity to get down to Edinburgh for some on location shoot opportunities and Ian was on my list of people to catch up with. We decided we must shoot one on one together, and had a great little impromptu evening shoot in and around the town. Our next shoot was a group shoot in Glasgow at the Necropolis event. Ian has made me feel so welcome in the city and post shoot communication has been stellar. He very kindly helped me get to the train station on my way back after a duo shoot with himself and a new model at the vennel.

Not only a brilliant photographer with all the lights etc down to a T - but a great character. Ian is someone who is a pleasure to be around, patient to the end, open to suggestions - we had a lot of laughter between shots and I now count him as a good friend.

He was happy for me to take any safety precautions necessary and is a professional before, during and after a shoot. Highly recommend this photographer to work with. His work speaks for itself and you will feel so comfortable and confident with him explaining what he is doing throughout the shoot and being highly respectful at all times. Great guidance on posing and knows some fantastic places to shoot. Ideal for amateur, professional and /or first time models to shoot with.

Thanks again for everything Ian, and greatly looking forward to our next shoot.

First time meeting and it was supposed to be an outdoor shoot in Edinburgh but the Scottish weather put a stop to that but lucky we got to move indoors to a studio with other models and togs and what a great day it was can’t recommend Ian enough very polite and good at helping on poses as me being a new model this makes me feel more comfortable and relaxed loved the shoot and can’t wait for the pics and thank you again for making sure I got to station to get home , I do hope I get the chance to work with you again and massive thanks again :)

I have shot with Ian multiple times now. Ian is a great photographer/person to work with, he always makes you feel ever so comfortable, talks you through things, makes the model feel at ease. Oh and how can I forget, we have a great laugh too!!! Would certainly recommend 😁

Had another great shoot with Ian in a beautiful location in Elie. Ian was once again, very easy to work with and brought along some smoke bombs for our shoot. I also had the pleasure of shooting with two other models that Ian had initially arranged the shoot with, and asked me if I wanted to come along. The pictures turned out amazing for a halloween witch shoot. Ian is very helpful and has great advice and tips for new models.

I would highly recommend Ian as he is very professional and is very easy to get along with.

This is a bit of a double reference for Ian as we managed to shoot together twice in 72 hours!

He originally booked me as part of a trio shoot which unfortunately got cancelled at short notice due to another model cancelling, however Ian still maintained his booking and shot me solo. I was very thankful and his communications were great even at the last minute!

We shot some amazing dance/leaps/jumps at synergy and the results look stunning!

Two days later and Ian was also booked onto my studio day at Pavilion, we shot styles totally different to the day or so before and covered a variety of fashion through to art nude. Some of my absolute favourites on the posing box too!

Ian is super chilled and easy to get along with, a really great photographer and all round nice person! Thoroughly enjoyed shooting together the past few days and am very happy to recommend him to others!

Ian and I have known each other for a few years now, and finally we got the chance to shoot! Despite the weather really not being on our side, we got some fab street fashion shots. Ian also doubles as an amazing tour guide with classic Scottish banter, another reason to work with him!

Another brilliant shoot with Ian while on my Scottish tour last week. This time it was a duo shoot with myself, fellow model Nicky Phillips and photographer David.

Absolutely loved the shoot, Ian is lovely, laid back, kind and 100% professional throughout.

He even brought me and Nicky, chocolates as blankets as a gift, very kind.

Ian attended my studio day at Meow studios alongside an amateur photographer who he was giving tuition to.

They were both very easy to work with, respectful and had good ideas. I particularly liked Ian’s ideas for throwing fabric behind me with art nude poses, it created some really interesting shapes.

The images on the back of the camera looked cool.

Would happily work with him again.

So Ian is just a little bit awesome, and that has nothing to do with the fact he rocked up with some of my favourite cider (honest!) but more to do with the fact he is just a great guy to be around.

My first shoot with Ian, and I thoroughly enjoyed it so hope it won't be the last!

Ian is so laid back, takes things at a nice relaxed pace and doesn't rush, making sure to show you the images on the back of the camera regularly too so you know what you are achieving and can make any adjustments if necessary.

Very easy to talk to and a great sense of humour, and he works for the company who makes me favourite cider so I get to steal some next time I visit - always a winner haha :D

Such a lovely way to end my studio day and hope to see him next time!
