Today was my first shoot with Ian and it could not have gone better!

He collected me from the station and we had a very productive 3 hours in his beautiful home studio.

We experimented with lots of different lighting and styles and I really enjoyed our time together, Ian carefully plans his lighting and lense options to really bring out the best in a model.

He is very laid back, easygoing and chatty, nothing is too much trouble.

I cant wait to work together again!

I had my very first shoot with the amazing Ian today.

He was kind enough to collect me from the station and we travelled to the studio together.

Ian's shooting style is fantastic, very professional but equally relaxed and fun, he was an absolute joy to work with. His ideas are great, he's super passionate about what he does and is such a lovely guy.

Very highly recommended of course, I look forward to our next shoot together. Thanks Ian!

This time, me and Ian shot at Rawpics Studio. Thank you so much for asking me as I love it there!

We got some incredible images. I don't think Ian knows how good he is lol.

I always get excited about our shoots as I know we create amazing images and have such a good time.

Ian is definitely a friend now and our shoots do not feel like work.

It was great watching him shoot another model who was fantastic and their images were so, so good! He chose a very good second model to shoot.

Again, thank you for asking me to do this. What a great day!

Second shoot with Ian, and as expected, he was bloody fantastic!

We messed around with different backdrops and outfits, and got some truly amazing shots. His eye for what makes a good photo is hard to deny, and his enthusiasm only encourages you more! Plus, we always have the best chats, which really puts your mind at ease and helps you relax into the shoot as much as possible. I really value how much he respects the people he works with, and ensures my comfort before continuing.

All in all, I would highly, highly recommend Ian if you are looking for a wonderful soul with great talent :)

I had my first shoot with Ian today. It was such a lovely time. We had chatted about our ideas in the pre shoot conversations - Ian was enthusiastic and had plenty of ideas to offer. We went through several looks over the two hours, of which he was always respectful and great to chat with. I’ve briefly seen the results on the camera screen and am already absolutely chuffed with the results. I would highly recommend working with Ian, he’s a lovely person and a great photographer. I was surprised to know he was new to shooting models as the shoot flowed effortlessly!

I can’t begin to tell you how great of a shoot I had with Ian in his home studio yesterday… aside from being incredibly welcoming and friendly, he has such an eye and enthusiasm for what he does. I pretty much knew from the get go that we were going to get some great images, and I was absolutely right, we are both over the moon with what we captured! We chatted practically non stop, and were both able to work together while adding our own spin on things. We have already began planning our next shoot, and I really cannot wait for it. Highly recommend Ian!

What a perfect way to spend a Saturday afternoon in the woods, with some smoke bombs and an awesome photographer!

It was such good fun, it didn't feel like I was working, we had such a laugh.

Yet again, we created some fab shots. I'm very very happy with them all.

After applying for a casting Ian posted, we were able to quickly set on a date, and he was very clear with the styling he wanted, which made it easy for me to prepare. His communication was perfect throughout, and in person he was very friendly and easy to work with. He also frequently showed me the images on the back of the camera which meant I was able to keep changing poses and suggest ideas. Overall the shoot was incredibly enjoyable, the images look incredible, and I really hope to work more with Ian in the future!

I'm very very lucky this creative, enthusiastic, talented photographer lives about a 5 minute drive away from me! Crazy!

When I look at images that make me say WOW, I remember why I love doing what I do.. This time we did a smoke bomb shoot, which was my first time, well holding and posing with a smoke bomb anyway.. and a wet shoot. Both sets were so much fun and turned out amazing!

Loved doing both sets and spending time with his cute dogs haha :-)

Ian is great. I can not fault him and being such a good photographer!

Bring on the next shoot. I cant wait!! :D :D

I had another amazing shoot with Ian just like the first one. It was perfect!

We shot at two really good locations. Ian knows the best places to go.

Our shoots never feel like hard work. We have such a laugh, chat and get the best shots. Shoots like these make me love my job.

Ian is such a good photographer. I'm very very lucky to live so close to him!

We have a long list of ideas to do and I'm so excited.

I had the pleasure of tutoring Ian for a boudoir and implied shoot in my home studio and from start to finish he was fantastic company. He'd discussed his requirements with Angel at great length so I knew exactly what to focus on when the shoot day arrived.

Ian was on time and happy to promptly start, meaning we could really make the most out of the time we had. Ian was attentive throughout the shoot, listening to what I had to say, and definitely got himself stuck in. The results speak for themselves, they're truly fantastic.

Ian was a perfect gentleman throughout and made Angel and I feel very at ease.

We had a great shoot with Ian recently in our home studio, focusing on boudoir and implied nude tuition. His pre shoot communications were great, very thorough and detailed.

Despite being new to model photography he has a great eye for it and can give direction well. Ian was keen to hear our thoughts behind the camera settings and posing, taking on board everything we said and then putting it into practise.

The back of camera shots were ace, and the edits we saw afterwards looked simply amazing.

Ian is a polite and professional gentleman, and conversation was easy. We absolutely recommend him to others!

Ian attended a Team Black Tuition in my home studio with tuition from J Black Photographic. Ian's pre shoot communications were excellent, well thought out and very prompt to respond and answer any questions we had.

During the shoot itself, he arrived ahead of time and after a cuppa and a brief chat was happy to jump straight in to the shoot. He was polite and professional throughout, paying good attention to the tips we gave him, both from a Photographic and model viewpoint and wasn't afraid to ask questions.

He was the perfect attendee and I absolutely loved working with him. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to other creatives and look forward to our next shoot!
