References for Iain Hamilton Photography - Studio 301

Had a great studio day at Iain's today. It was a good laugh, and Iain was on hand throughout the day to help with garment pinning, putting on of socks (thank you), and testing of lights etc.

tea was in plentiful supply, as was chocolate and nibbles!

I really like Iain's studio. Lots of different options for backdrops and some lovely big windier was for natural light work. There are also the outside hall areas which are really cool too.

Thanks Iain for a great day, for looking after me so well, and being all round awesome!

Well well well....

What can I say about Iain? Amazing, super easy to get along with and a barrel of laughs from start to finish!

I have just finished my North West tour and Iain kindly invited me to host a studio day whilst I was up around his neck of the woods. I expressed concerns that I may not sell the day as we had less than a month to get the day fully booked - but between us both we ended up with a sell out and Iain's efforts were just amazing.

He was on hand to offer any assistance to the photographers as well as make sure I was supplied with enough coffee to keep me buzzing off my boobies! Haha! We managed to get some shots at the end of the day too and I cant wait to see them! I also had him on hand as a dazzling assistant throughout the day - polishing my shoes, volumizing my hair, helping me in and out of latex....

hehe it was a right giggle! - We are already discussing another day - I am hoping he will be able to put up with me :)

Great photographer - amazing at what he does ad highly recommended!

I had a fantastic studio day at Iain's studio last week. The day just flew by! Iain was such a great help, and really looked after me making sure I was kept warm throughout and also assisted all the photographers with the lighting. I also managed to squeeze in a cheeky session with Iain at the end of they day. Always a pleasure to work with and always end up with some amazing images! I would recommend the studio to all photographers and models for studio days of group shoots, and also recommend Iain to any model who has not yet worked with him.

Thanks again Iain for making it such a superb day. Looking forward to the next one and our shoot also!

Did a couple of studio days at Iain's Studio, and also shot with Iain. His studio is fab, its huge and has everything you want and need in a studio as both a model and photographer! He was so kind to have to heating on constantly for me and supply me with endless tea! HERO!

He is also a brilliant photographer and knows his lighting like a genius! :) He is super easy to work with and fast! :)

Iain as a person is funny, kind and an absolute star! He was kind enough to put me up and put up with me! Really appreciated!

All I have to say about Iain is massively positive, great guy, great everything! Very highly recommended as a photographer and Studio to use :)

Iain hosted my first ever studio day yesterday at his Preston venue 'Studio 301'. From start to finish, Iain was brilliant and I will definitely be going back there if he'll have me! He was on hand to the attendees all day and went the extra mile with some to assist. From chasing me around the studio with a heater to combat the baltic December conditions, to setting up lights, holding reflectors and providing moral support for the photographers - I highly recommend Iain and his studio to anyone - also he has bargain prices!

I was invited to use iains studio the other day for a fab shoot with another photographer. Iain was pleasant welcoming and made a cracking cuppa. The studio was lovely, light and airy in a beautiful old building. The changing area was more than adequate and there was also a nice area for hair and makeup. I would definitely recommend shooting here. After only a brief chat with Iain he gave me some great tips for the future. He is very knowledgeable and his photography is to die for I hope we can work together soon. Highly recommended.

I had a shoot today in which I used Iain Hamilton's studio in preston. Having never shot there before or doing many studio shoots at all for almost a year, I appreciated very much that Iain who I've met a few times previously stayed and helped give me some pointers as well as a little assistance in setting up.

The studio itself is a great size and very user friendly with all that is required from a studio, with a number of background styles to use to give variation.

I would definitely recommend and use the studio again.

I had an awesome shoot with Iain last night. Iain is very professional, a genius with lighting techniques and an all round top bloke. We had a few laughs on the shoot, which is always a great thing stimulating the brain to bring up ideas for other creative shots.

We captured a lot of amazing shots, which looked great behind the camera, so with a little bit of Iains magic, they'll look Epic.

Iain is Highly recommended by me.

So much greatness to say about Iain a brilliant photographer and one who knows style that can coordinate outfits together with his eyes closed. Probably could as well!!

From the start of entering his studio Iain had set everything up within minutes he knew how to coordinate style with lighting and make up plus background to make the perfect image each time.

And fantastic at direction very professional and a splendid host. I'd definitely work with Iain in a heartbeat.

I highly recommend Iain to all muas, hairstylists, models, and designers you won't be disappointed.

I have worked with Iain on numerous occasions (not quite sure why I've only just got round to leaving a reference!). Iain is such a lovely guy and i can honestly say the images he has given me have been absolutely amazing EVERY SINGLE TIME! His skills are just top notch and I always look forward to shooting with him knowing I will get an enjoyable day and pure quality images in return. Iain kindly offered me somewhere to stay whilst on my North West tour and he was very accommodating. We managed to squeeze in a shoot together at his studio, which was a great space. Iain is very easy to get along with and has a great sense of humour, as well as a noisy (but cute) cat! Haha. He knows how to create great photos and is a true professional. I can't recommend him highly enough, thanks Iain. I'll be back! :-D

Had a great shoot in Iain's new studio on Friday. It's a fantastic facility with that "like it" factor - nice airy room, well equipped in terms of kit and with lots of natural light that can be shut out if desired. There's a curve, plenty of feature nooks and crannies in a great quiet mill setting.

On top of that, you get Iain's trademark brand of hospitality, technical and artistic assistance thrown in!

Looks like Iain is going to fill a good sized gap in the local market and I look forward to shooting there again, soon.

I finally got to shoot with Iain today and it was amazing as I thought it would be.

We got some amazing images and got on like a house on fire.

I thoroughly enjoyed working with Iain, the laughter flowed along with the conversation and images that said BOOM! It was well worth the wait. Should you be lucky enough, jump at it and you won't be disappointed.

Highly recommended by me with 5 stars. Can't wait for the next one already :D

I was on a charity shoot that Ian attended and was so excited to hear he was going to be part of it to, because i LOVE his work, and have wanted to work with him for ages... Hes great with direction, on a number of occasions throughout the day he saw things that others didnt and helped out both photographers and models to get the images they wanted. I would love to work with Ian again given the chance :)

Iain did not disappoint, he was great fun to work with, very helpful in terms of advice and suggestions, had great ideas and our time together flew by,

Managed my second shoot with Iain last week, all done on a very spontaneous basis, I happened to be around the area, managed to wangle another day off to shoot and he happened to be available!

He is the most chivalrous and hospitable photographer, he put me up overnight (again), had food ready for my arrival and made me loads of coffee :)

In the day that we had (after my appalling inability to wake up for 10 hours) we managed to shoot 5 different sets.

I also decided in my infinite wisdom to drop to my knees in a rather deep stream and Iain even kindly wrung my dress out for me!!

It is always massively relaxed and enjoyable to work with Iain, and he creates some fantastic images, I can't wait for our next shoot!!!

First met Iain today when I had been asked by the model to make her up. Iain was friendly made me feel welcome and at ease. I would definitely recommend Iain his images are professional and he knows his stuff. Hope to work with Iain again
