I had the pleasure of shooting with Iain at his premises in P.Glasgow, it was a very worthwhile experience, both the model and I were made very welcome by Iain, the facilities were great the surroundings and equipment are first class with many photo opportunities. Both the model and I were of the same opinion, it is the best studio that we have experienced and the hospitality is second to none. In short I intend to use Disruptive studio as much as I can for all future shoots. Highly Recommended. Ps thank you Iain.

Wow where do I begin?

I was privileged to be invited to a joint studio session with Ian and 2 lovely models that came to pose for us.

Lots of contact prior to the shoot.

Looking at his studio space I had an idea of what the set up was but when I arrived I was blown away with the space he has created as his home and studio.

Ian has spent a fortune on high end lighting and accessories and nothing was a problem throughout the day swapping things around for each set.

I could easily spend a full day with 1 model as there are so much variety of sets from studio to Professional Kitchen to an awesome shower room.

Throughout the day we were well catered for with great music and a homemade lunch .

Ian is also a great photographer and purist as we both shot medium format cameras.

This is the best studio I have had the pleasure of using and ideal for model days.

I can't recommend Ian and his High End Space enough and hope he can start sharing it more frequently for more shoots on a regular basis I am a passionate photographer and Ian is the same and has the bonus of having the same passion for his Studio.

I CANNOT recommend Iain enough! I was invited to a studio shoot alongside another model and photographer yesterday and from start to finish it was second to none. Iain clearly is a passionate photographer; from his creative direction, attention to detail and welcoming personality I would love to work him again. We were very kindly provided with lunch and amazing music (from a fellow 90s trance lover haha). Iain has created a brilliant project and I look forward to seeing it grow from strength to strength. I would urge other models to become involved in this/follow the journey. The edits/images I have received so far are great and exactly what I was hoping for. Thank you again, looking forward to working with you again, soon! C X

Had a fun and fantastic shoot with disruptive studio today. We had a studio day and what great fun it was. Professional and extremely welcoming. A fantastic vast of equipment and lighting, guys definitely know their stuff, I was sad to leave although I'm definitely looking forward to going back in the future! A few good belly laughs and amazing creative ideas had by all.

Iain was great to work with... Communication was on point. He hosted myself and 4 models and was brilliant to work with. His studio is gorgeous and well-kept with lots of prop capabilities.

His studio gear is virtually limitless and he is quite knowledgeable and willing to help to accommodate various set-ups. We were there for approx. 6 hours and he surprisingly made everyone pasta for lunch, with a homemade sauce that I meant to get the recipe for.

I can't recommend Iain enough for any photographers or models wanting to arrange shoots with him or in his space. It's really a shame he's a fair drive from me but considering what he is offering and the experience I had, I wouldn't hesitate to collaborate with him in the future.

Another awesome shoot at Disruptive Photo. It is now definitely my go to studio. Iain has an inventory of high end equipment and his attention to detail is commendable. He makes sure that every shot is set up well and constantly checks lighting. This day however, he was under the weather and considered cancelling, but amazingly he soldiered on and gave us the best studio experience i have had in years. My fellow tog, and the model, left for home but planning our next trip to DP.

I very much enjoyed my first visit to the fantastic Disruptive Photo studio space and met the lovely owner Iain, doing a full studio day with two photographers in the morning and another photographer in the afternoon plus shooting with Iain throughout. ✌️

Iain is a complete gentleman, very respectful and professional being so helpful throughout the day and leading up to the shoot also, his communications are spot on explaining everything very well and organising our studio day.

A knowledgeable and very talented photographer, I loved working alongside him and the results are amazing. Iain was also on hand all day to assist the photographers and he fairly keeps the brews going, making a braw cuppy.

The studio space is immense, with both the option of natural light coming into the large windows, various backdrops, different props and fully equipped with a large assortment of studio lighting. Beautifully furnished with a contemporary look, gorgeous decor, red brick and very clean and tidy.

I highly recommend this fabulous studio space and photographer. Such a superb space, with so much opportunity for creatives.

I look forward to my return and thank you so much Iain for a wonderfully productive and very fun day shooting. 😁

Another awesome session in Port Glasgow. DP studio is defo the best of the best. Shot with Aurora Violet and as usual Iain provided every light, softbox, piece of studio kit, I could ask for. He even furnished a small selection of bondage gear and a very expensive Fender guitar 🎸 when we were looking for props. His hospitality is legendary and his technical expertise impressive. Iain makes sure every shot is a good one. Great studio. Both myself and the model well appreciated his input.

A totally amazing session with Aurora Violet at Disruptive Photo's fabulous studio. Although we covered a very wide range of looks and lighting effects we barely touched the vast array of high-end equipment available. Everything went really well with Iain using his familiarity with Profoto gear to ensure the lighting was perfect for every shot.

I achieved far more than I expected and am delighted with the results I produced. I think we all had a great time and I for one will definitely be looking to use Iain's studio again and to delve into more of his incredible facilities. Very highly recommended.

Second time i shot at DP. Again Iain produced and set up every piece of equipment i asked for. And fast. He is a damn good photographer himself and his lightmeter was working overtime to ensure good results. His studio is spacious and we used a few props and furniture to hand. I am DEFO going back. Made a booking end of month. DP is now my goto studio.

Very spacious studio. Iain has invested in a lot of high quality eqpt. My shoot there was flawless and Iain's support and technical know how was faultless. Incredible facility,learnt a lot plus he makes a good cuppa. Defo recommended and will defo be going back next shoot.

I had the opportunity to shoot at Disruptive Photo today and it went perfectly.

The first thing I noticed was the amazing space this studio has. Lots of natural light as well as every type of studio lighting that you can imagine.

Iain is a lovely guy who was professional and extremely helpful the entire shoot.

I would recommend booking this fantastic studio to all models and photographers. It has endless spaces for amazing images.

My first shoot at Disruptive_Photo was a good one. An amazing place.

Plenty of natural light if you want to shoot with that, plus a whole plethora of lights, diffusers and softboxes if you want more control of the lighting.

Iain was on hand to assist with lighting set ups and was helpful throughout.

My first visit to the studio for a general introduction and discussion about future plans. First thing that strikes you is the scale of the space and the vast array of high-end equipment available. Iain seems to have thought of everything.

After lending practical help with backgrounds we did an impromptu photoshoot using just two of the many flash units to hand and very quickly produced some very usable images. The Profoto flash gear is fantastic and the wide assortment of reflectors and light modifiers provide almost limitless options for lighting effects, all with simple control.

I'm really looking forward to my next visit when we can get right into some creative photography during a structured session. Although Iain was a slightly reluctant model, he met wee lighting test head on and with good humour but admitted he'd much rather be taking the shots than being in them!

Very highly recommended!

Great to see that Ian is embarking on a new venture!

Having worked with Ian on a shoot as a model, I'd recommmend for all models to get in touch. I'm still new to modelling and Ian did my very first shoot with me, which has opened many doors for me since. Since the photos were released, I've had a number of photographers get in touch.

Ian made me feel so safe and comfortable during the shoot, I was a bit nervous but was quickly put at ease. The photos turned out great and it's made me feel positive about doing more. Ian is all about making everyone comfortable, whether working with photographers or models, and it's great to see that he's going into a new venture.

Great to work with and excited to do more!

Had a brilliant session in Greenock with Coco Bloom and Iain. Iain's studio is definitely one of the best I've used since there's a great selection of lights that are easy to move, and Iain is great fun and very helpful. Parking is also dead easy which isn't an obvious benefit unless you've spent time in the city centre studios :-) . All in all it was a great day and I will definitely use Iain again!

Had a shoot here and got to say , what an amazing set up , lots of natural light and a great lighting set-up,

don’t think I’ve ever seen as many different lights/boxes filters anything you can think of , all state of art equipment , one thing I loved was Phil’s camera was linked to his laptop allowing you to see pics on a decent size screen , a great studio for all your needs , can’t wait to go back , I’m going to be on one of the studio days coming up soon , so really looking forward to that 😉
